About Michael Lavender
Micheal Lavender founded Lavender Warr in 2015 to provide strategic consulting services to businesses throughout Texas. With a focus on helping clients interpret and leverage operational and financial data, Micheal partners with business owners and executives across a wide range of industries. His mission is to clarify business complexities and drive decision-making through data-informed strategy.
In addition to launching Lavender Warr, Micheal has served as Chief Lending Officer at a local bank, owned several businesses in the region, and contributed extensively to civic life through service on numerous nonprofit boards across East Texas. His impact on the community was recognized in 2013 when he received Tyler’s Most Outstanding Citizen Under 40, the prestigious W.C. Windsor Award.
Micheal is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Tyler Junior College, where he pursued a multidisciplinary education in physics, psychology, finance, statistics, and data science.
About Alden Warr
Alden has spent his career advising, investing in, and in leadership at fast-growing, private companies. At Lavender Warr, he has enabled many business owners to realize the full value of their businesses through data-driven growth and facilitating complex business transactions. Prior to joining Lavender Warr, Alden led all accounting and finance functions for Essentium, Inc. During Alden’s tenure, he helped orchestrate the acquisition of a large competitor, allowing Essentium to gain international recognition as one of the fastest growing and most important players in 3D printing before being acquired by Nexa3D.
Following his time at Essentium, Alden helped found an algorithmic hedge fund that was quickly acquired by a Houston-based private equity firm. Next, Alden co-founded VoCo technologies which helped pioneer the use of voice-controlled, artificial intelligence for healthcare in the senior living industry. In only a couple of years, VoCo’s technology spread across the country and was then acquired in 2022.
Alden has received numerous recognitions for his work, including being named a Top 100 Healthcare Leader by the International Forum for Advancements in Healthcare and a recipient of the 12 Under 12 Young Alumni Spotlight Award honoring the top 12 graduates from Texas A&M who graduated in the last 12 years.
