BBB Serving Central SC and Charleston: 2025 Board of Directors

Gwendolyn Rivers has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the BBB Serving Central SC and Charleston.  Rivers has served on the BBB Board of Directors since 2020, including Vice Chair and Treasurer. Rivers is the Chief Lending Officer with Caro Federal Credit Union.

In a recent Board Meeting, Kraig Clark, John Peevey, Fallon Rose, and Joe Thickens were appointed as the newest Directors.

Background on Gwen Rivers
Ms. Rivers has over 30 years of experience working at all levels of lending and is a 2010 graduate of the Southeast Credit Union Management School from the University of Georgia, Athens. Gwen has a proven history of operational success and has implemented new lending platforms and origination systems and programs that have streamlined processes and increased efficiencies throughout the organizations of which she has been a part of.

Gwen lives in Northeast Columbia, SC and is an avid baker and loves traveling.
