On 3 February, the arm that raises the door on our garage broke. We called B&W explained what had happened, and they said they would send a technician out later that afternoon. We told the person on the phone we had a flight later that day, however our house sitter ****** would be there. We told them to complete any work that was needed because my car was ********** the airport, **** messaged me that the technician had arrived and doing the repair, asked god was he doing the repair. Apparently the technician stayed there about 45 minutes. We were charged $437..We returned home 14 February my husband pushed the button in his truck to open the garage door. It lifted approximately 12 inches and didnt move. So my husband lowered the door and pushed the button to raise it again, where it stopped at 12 inches high. When we went through the house into the garage, there was pieces of metal and nuts and bolts on the floor and the arm was hanging off. My husband called the company and explained what had happened and they said they would send a technician out on 16 February between 9-11 AM. When the technician still hadnt come at 11:30 my husband called and apparently there was no record of anyone being assigned to the call however, the person on the phone said they would call a technician who would be in touch with us. The person who called was the same technician who did the original repair. He came later that day, and said a spring needed to be replaced, which we agreed to. He did the repair, which took approximately two hours and left.Later that day we received an invoice for $1200 no breakdown as to what it was for. My husband called the company and said was they are going to be some sort of refund for the previous repair we had paid for. Their response was no. I also called and was supposed to receive a response from the owner which never came however, the office person called my husband and said there would be no discount.
