      On July 31 2023 I enrolled in Personal Training Program with Elevated Academy and paid $400 for program registration, I did not pay the tuition fee at the time, due October 23rd. In September 2023 I became obligated to a family member who is terminally ill and have to leave the province and as a result am not able to attend the training and withdrew. Elevated Academy refuses to refund the program fee stating it's their "policy", despite the fact that I have a medical note from Dr and never physically signed anything agreeing to this. I am concerned that this company is taking advantage of people and I am obligated to receive this money back considering the services were never rendered. Employee ******************* (on behalf of ********************* - Director) stated on video call that all tuition fees were refundable in the event of withdrawal. I have been treated very poorly by ************************* - General Manager and extended absolutely no compassion for my situation.
