      Very disappointing. We order dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, dryer and Sofa. When the person came to install dishwasher ********* he found kick plate missing. WE called immediately on Oct 25 2023 ***** was the person who handles our order . Since then I am calling them to reorder the parts but still I am calling ******** care and they replied that they have order parts. Again I called her and emailed last week no callback form her and no reply for email. I would rate 0 if I wish. Poor service.

      Very disappointed in the brick we wish that we had read the reviews before purchasing. Our family purchased a sofa and loveseat on December 6th. These two items were not delivered to our residence until December 17th. The couches were not only defective in appearance (each seat looks/looked different, not unison); they were also uncomfortable to sit on. We initially reached out to The Brick on December 18th both via telephone and in person at the store of purchase. We were advised by the telephone representative to make a complaint on TheBrick.com. In addition, the store personnel informed us that we do not take returns. We questioned store personnel as this was not mentioned to us before purchase. An inspector came to inspect the sofa and loveseat on December 22nd. Although the following can be classified as hearsay, when the inspector viewed the couch and loveseat, he was surprised that the **************** were considered new. He mentioned that he would write his report indicating the severity of defects considering the item only arrived at our residence a few days prior. Based on the report by the inspector we received a phone call on December 28th, 2023 stating that the brick would offer the following:1. To repack/restuff the seats.2. Provide a 30% discount and we keep the items (partial refund).3. Exchange for another item.4. No full refund. These options from our position are neither fair nor in good faith. We believe that we should not be charged for a defective product, the buyer should be able to return items. The seats are uncomfortable, as a result of this these chairs ***************** are hardly used. I will be sure to tell anyone who is looking for furniture and or appliances to steer clear of this franchise in general and this location specifically.

      The worst customer service I have ever experienced there promise of delivery of a sofa has been put off for the past 3 months they keep saying it will be another three weeks when 3weeks are up they call again saying the same thing , the manager at that store is very sarcastic on very rude to his customers.

      Do not buy warranty from these people.Cant get parts and have no techs and wont replace broken items.

      I purchased a futon couch from the brick online. Got it delivered on Dec 16th didnt open it till Dec 23rd.I called the brick asking to send it back as its hard, has a slant at the head which makes it uneven. They told me I cant return it cause its been past 7 days and its already been opened. Apparently you can open what you bought and try it. How are you suppose to know if you like it if you cant open it.Worst customer service ever. So now stuck with a couch/futon that is hard and has a slant in it cause I opened the box. Is there not a policy in place for returns?

      Their delivery service is garbage. The two delivery men who delivered an appliance from The Brick were extremely rude, impatient and unprofessional. In fact, one of them started cursing. They were instructed to wear masks but did not. They were ******* the process and about to roughly drop my appliance from the truck because they had ******* set up but they saw me watching and did not. When I wanted to check the appliance before they brought it in, which I am supposed to before signing the delivery papers, one man got agitated and loudly cursed and complained. These two jerks were acting as if they were the customer. Because of their crude behavior I did not feel safe allowing them entry to my home so I had them leave the appliance outside my door, which was annoying since I paid for delivery. Never again will I be buying from The Brick.

      Poor (or lackthereof, rather) of their ********************* Plan offering.Timeline:- Oct 22, 2021: purchased a sectional sofa, including the 5YR Furniture Warranty/Protection Plan - Oct 22, 2023: submitted an online claim for upholstery damage (FYI the experience is not intuitive at all)- Nov 4, 2023: technician showed up for an on-site visit to assess and take pictures of the sofa - Nov 15, 2023: called the Whitby store location (25 Consumer Dr) for an update-- "no update or movement and still waiting for an adjudicator to review"- Nov 28, 2023: called again, same update as above - Dec 7, 2023: called again, same update as above Next Steps: I've asked to speak with ANYONE who can provide me with a resolution and I keep getting told that someone will call me back, but nobody has ever made contact with me.

      Extremely ************ Place an order for a sectional in April 2023 and had to pay the entire amount at that point in time. The delivery was suppose to be within 2 months.** June, no news, i had to phone and they told me delivery was pushed back to August ** August, no news, I had to phone and they told me that delivery was pushed back to end of September.At the beginning of September, they called me for delivery. When the truck arrived I requested to see the colour of the sectional before unloading. The delivery team then dropped the furniture without unpacking and left right away. They told me if there is a problem call the Brick. I immediately open the box only to notice that 1 part of the sectional was the right colour and fabric but the second part of the sectional was a different colour and fabric.Within 5 minutes I was on the phone with the Brick, however I was only able to get them to pick it up after 10 days. Meanwhile it was sitting in the middle of my living room.They also damaged my front door trying to push the furniture through. After multiple calls, the new delivery date was set to be December 2023 !!!!Late November, no news, had to phone again. They are now telling me delivery will only be in February ****, 10 months after the order was paid. They did not even bother to inform me of this change and will not offer any type of compensation.By the way, my front door has not be fixed yet EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. To bad there is not an option for 0.
