      In January 2022, All Seasons Insulation Ltd. came to fill our attic with insulation. One of their workers ended up falling through our ceiling. They tried to repair it, but their repairs were unsatisfactory and a large crack ended up forming in our ceiling away from the hole toward the nearest wall. They told us to fix it ourselves and have not responded since.
      We did have a handyman come to try to fix it, but they were also unsuccessful. He asked that we wait until spring 2023 to see what the crack does with the change of humidity, hence why we haven't been able to post out *** complaint until now.
      As the crack did not settle back into place as he hoped, we are now left with no options but to seek settlement.
      We did receive quotes to replace the entire ceiling drywall sheet, but for well over $2000, which we cannot afford. Furthermore, this crack is affecting our property value. Our desired settlement is for All Seasons Insulation to pay for the repairs, but for the repairs to be completed by a company of our choosing.
      We did not pay them for their work due to this damage, but the costs of repair are quoted well above what we were quoted by All Seasons Insulation for their work.
      No formal contract was written. All verbal. We do not desire further contact from the business, but rather for *** or another agency to act as third party mediator.
