    Installation date of shingles August **, 2024 This is the first email we sent to Raj Bains Roofing: To Whom it May Concern, I am following up regarding the installation issues that occurred to our home during the new shingling process. The shingles were removed carelessly resulting in the old tar landing on our garage door and vinyl siding of the home. The tar cannot be removed without discoloring the siding. I confirmed this by speaking with a qualified siding contractor. The kitchen window was scratched from falling shingles. My perennial flower bed was flattened. The roof exterior above our kitchen located at the back east side of the home has a soft spot. The ridge cap was installed incorrectly, from south to north and should have been installed from north to south. This has been confirmed after speaking with other roofing contractors. ***** had multiple conversations with representatives at ******************* and was told someone would look into it.I have spoken with a siding contractor regarding a quote to replace the vinyl siding that was damaged $**** and paint the garage door $***.We sent a follow up email regarding the damage to our vinyl siding and garage door. We appreciate the meeting with your representatives on Thursday January **, 2025. Although they were able to remove the tar from the vinyl siding, this created discoloration that cannot be repaired.The discoloration is permanent. The age of the siding cannot be matched, therefore patching the vinyl siding will result in completely different colors in multiple areas. This is not an acceptable solution. We provided estimates from our contractors for repairs to the garage door and vinyl siding. Please deduct the cost of repairs from the outstanding balance owing - $**** for the vinyl siding and $*** for the cost to paint the garage door. We will then gladly pay the balance of $*******.
