      THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY! BUYER BEWARE. We had to pay out of pocket to repair our home that was built incorrectly. I am at a complete loss for words. We purchased our home from ******** a bit over a year ago now. ******** left lethbridge and Avonlea was responsible for taking over our warranty. While our house was being built we had delays because of the siding and even the day we moved in the siding had issues. ******** was aware of these issues and when we switched to Avonlea I made sure they were aware of these issues as well. It has been over 6 months since Avonlea took over and they did not make any of the proper repairs to our siding. I waited very patiently for the repairs understanding that the industry is busy. My concerns fell on deaf ears and Avonlea's rep lacked the motive to check in with us or update us on what repairs would be done. Now our home is past the 1 year mark and they tell us they don't have to fix our home but they will fix our home "because theyre nice". I hate that this is what is articulated to me I made them aware far in advanced, to only have it thrown in my face. I made a home warranty claim just to have something on paper of us having issues but they also failed us by not actually completing a proper inspection. Our home is now suffering, the siding falling off and hitting our cars and other's homes. I was told I was disrespectful for "Being very displeased with working with our rep" They took my words personally and rather than working to build our trust, they attacked me personally. I dont think I deserved this and I now fear making any warranty claims. They told me I was ungrateful for just wanting a home I could live in and not be in fear of. I always try to be up most polite to everyone and I am deeply saddened. I would not ever recommend Avonlea if this is the type of support they give. I am left terrified after spending a lot of money on a home and never been able to enjoy living here.
