    May 10, 2024 They demolished the old driveway and then after the weekend, got to preparing it with road crush and rebar for the new. We were told by ***, weather following completion of pouring on May 17 was ideal for curing. We did not drive on it for 3 weeks.The mess was never cleaned up. Concrete handprints and splatter all over siding and garage; grass littered with broken up concrete from the demolition, my neighbours driveway a mess too. I text *** about it and he sent a crew member that week to get up some of the mess from the lawn, but I ended up having to do all the scrubbing myself, wash my neighbours driveway, as well as get broken concrete out of my grass.We noticed concrete flaking and a few holes, only a few days after. End of July *** replies: We used a different concrete mix and with the heat. I haven't been able to get there, but it will be there for the cut and ********* August and he hasnt been by or reached out. I text, Im concerned you haven't been by yet check on our concerns and do the cuts. It's been almost 3 months since the job was done. We would appreciate you stopping by sooner than later the concrete is flaking off like it is in places, is there something wrong with the strength and integrity of the concrete.His reply, We are on *********** end of August, he stopped by and made the cuts he needed to. No patching was done. *** recommended sealing the driveway to prevent anything further happening. We would be responsible for the cost of the product, and prepping the driveway (powerwash) A $390 payment for product was made. March 2025: our driveway has severe and hairline cracking, crumbling in places, flaking still occurring, and *** refuses to do anything but a patch job.

    In 100% righteousness, we did our very best to satisfy this clients every legitimate need.
    This client was respected and honored through the entire process.

    Facts

    An employee was sent IMMEDIATELY after a call was made to clean.

    There were a few very small flakes that came off that were an anomaly. (Looney size)

    We offered to patch them? ????? Although we notified her that they would stand out more. We recommended just putting on a high quality sealer.

    We responded with a FREE SERVICE of installing a high quality sealer.

    We came back to do ADDITIONAL saw cuts to prevent any further cracking on outside corners. FREE OF CHARGE.

    Now there are (completely NORMAL product behavior) cracks.

    We will continue to hold this client in high regards.
