    January 1/2024 Paid approximately $8000.00 The business proposal was to install a new furnace The nature of the dispute is that the furnace is the wrong size for our house, it is too big, very loud. No measurements were taken. We asked the company owner if he could fix the furnace or install a different one. The owner said that he was going on vacation and wouldnt be home until February 20th and he told us to contact our neighbour and our neighbour would tell us that its normal for new furnaces to be loud. My husband phoned the owner of eagle plumbing ********* 3 days ago asking for the receipt saying that we had paid him in full. He has not gotten back to him. The business has not tried to solve the issue. The owner told us that with the new air conditioning unit that it would be louder in our house. The first payment to eagle plumbing ********* was December 23/2023. My husband has a text message from eagle plumbing ********* as proof that he would not help us with this new furnace. We had to hire another company to replace the furnace that eagle plumbing ********* had put in.

    The email sent to my husband from the owner of eagle plumbing and heating 

     

    Good morning ******************* called last night and said to take out the furnace and put one in that makes no noise. First off thats impossible, secondly when we talked I said that the furnace makes more air noise as it moves almost double the air . The heating speed on all the new furnaces are in the 1300-1400 cfm range no matter the manufacturer, the furnace we removed was probably around the ******* cfm range . Its a common complaint about the new furnaces but it takes a while to get used to . If you like you can do some research on line or ask another contractor. *************** just lives next door, ask him about it . Im going away on holidays next week for 3 weeks , I will be home around the 20 th of February if you would like to talk about it . Thanks *****

    When we went to another contractor, as the owner of eagle plumbing suggested, the other contractor told me that the furnace that was bought from eagle plumbing was a very big furnace and that it was made for a large house.  It was too big for our house, they said.
