    I had an appointment yesterday July 30,2024 with **************. **** was so very professional, calming and absolutely had a no pressure attitude and approach.It He made me feel very comfortable doing what i had to do and wanted to do.I would recommend seeing **** if you are in need of help choosing a place for your love one.Out of all cemeteries to choose from ValleyView is the very best. To me ************** is a big part of myself saying this. Thank you so very much.

    ************** has helped my family and I on a number of occasions. He and all the staff at Valleyview are kind, understanding, patient, and respectful. Im grateful that I have had **** to help me out and I highly recommend him to any who need help planning for a loved one or themselves. Thank you.

    **** disappointed! I own a plot in Valley View, right beside my brothers and mother and father. Naturally, I assumed that I would be buried in that plot. BUT my sister-in-law died in June and the Valley View representatives, **** and ******, were not people I want my husband to deal with when I am dying! First, **** was more interested in upselling my brother instead of helping him make the necessary arrangements when he suddenly recognized his wife was dying. When we got to Valley View for the burial, the dirt from the gravesite was piled on top of my mother and father's sites. We were prepared to lay flowers on their sites but couldn't! ****** was apologetic, but thought we should be happy to know this will be a teaching tool for his staff! In our time of grief, we expected more care and concern from Valley View. Will I use that plot? I'm not sure. I really would like to know that ******** teaching tool creates changes! Care, concern, empathy, understanding are NOT out of style. Ask *****. She knows how to do it!

    Would not recommend if you have any other options. Overpriced even in comparison to other local lower mainland cemeteries. Had a terrible representative Garcy *** assigned to my family when planning the funeral for my grandmother. She was texting me Memojis of herself. Super unprofessional in her communication. She overcharged our family and had horrible communication. Sends emails with no context, requiring so much email follow up for everything. Keeping in mind this was a prearranged service. If assigned to her, please ask for a different representative for your family's sake. If considered Valley View as your own or a loved one's final resting place keep in mind that they only do internments (burials) Monday to Saturday. Which makes it challenging for planning a weekend burial service.

    My overall experience is mixed. For the first few months service was quite good. That included the funeral and designing the burial marker. However, I was not impressed with them texting me asking me for a ****** review a few months after my loved one's death. I didn't do it. Then, on Thanksgiving Day 2023 I was texted a request to do a ****** review again. On a Holiday? Really? Holidays are often really painful days for us who've lost loved ones. So, I was very incensed that they'd even think about asking for such a thing--as I felt their business interests superseded my grief. I texted them back firmly letting them know how offended I was at their request, said I wouldn't do a review and, if I changed my mind, I would mention this. Even those in ** ***** ****** ** ***** ********** *** ** ***** ******* ****** **** ******* **** ******** ***** *** ***** We all felt it was an insult to us who are grieving. Although the two Valley View staff apologized twice via text message, I did not accept their apologies. That's because being in such sensitive profession in which people experience a lot of painful grief, which made me feel much worse that day, this should never have happened to begin with. ** ******* ** **** **** ******** **** **** ** ***** ****** ******** **** ** ************* *** ** ***** ********* ******** *** *** ******** **** That's why I changed my mind and wrote this review. I want it to stop. Hence, the original person I worked with is now investigating why this happened. He said he would never have approved such a thing. Yet, at least two other of their staff members did. Because myself *** ****** felt this was a serious offence, that's why I gave them 3/5 stars. A fair review.
