      Worst bank. Poor client relations, no accountability, unprofessional, - continuously making careless mistakes whereby the client losses short and long term, poor and non-existent customer care service with long-term clients, do not follow instructions, take ages to return a phone call, unnecessarily involving so many reps, if it even returns and very *******t. Clients with fewer investments get treated differently, A simple request like moving funds from one account to another can turn into a nightmare. I have had regular TFSA savings account since 2014, now I am pulling 100% of my money out to transfer to another bank. Before the transfer process was completed, all my online data and historical records had already been inaccessible within 2 days of the request in the same week. It's absurd. I understand inactive bank accounts get closed or deleted after a period. *** **** **** ******** **** ***** **** ** *** *** ** **** My advice: save yourself the headache, don't get lured by the high interests. Avoid the People's Trust group.

      Hello,
      We have reviewed your call history with us and can see that the interaction you mention, with one of our customer service representatives, occurred on Friday and again on Monday. As you had already transferred out your entire TFSA already (before this interaction), it was not possible for you to see the $0.00 balance, as once the last account is closed, there is no more online access. Once the withdrawal is done on our end, it is in “transit” to the other FI. Our Deposit Services Manager did attempt to reach you as requested on Monday afternoon, with no success - only getting voicemail. We did attempt to explain the account closing process, and that your funds had transferred already (before this interaction), but our attempts seem to have been misinterpreted. We would be happy to give you a call to discuss the process again if you are looking for additional clarity. In addition, we can provide you with documentation and the record of your TFSA account closure from earlier this month, and can mail you a copy of your last statement for the month of July. If you require any additional statements for past transactions, we would be happy to provide those as well, by request.
