      We first contacted ********* early to mid January. It took nearly a full month for them to send paperwork. It took another week to get hold of another staff member (*******). We filled out 2 forms online with *******. She was very nice/professional. She said she enjoyed working in that profession and how rewarding it was for her personally.They didn't follow through on the paperwork submitted on their website and said they didn't have one of our forms at all! ********* somehow blamed us for it. This isn't true at all as I was on the phone with ******* as we filled out both forms. She acknowledged that they had both gone through. When we didn't hear back from ********* (our main contact), we emailed him and said we would like to talk to someone else if he was too busy. He was originally a gentle spoken, kind man who turned into an abrasive, rude so-and-so. According to him he was under a lot of pressure having to do the Owners' workload (due to his Father being in **************** as well as his own, and said he was under-staffed (******* was mysteriously gone) and he was over-worked. None of this needed to be shared with us at all. We have our own stress, we don't need to hear yours! I lost all faith in them we he told us this. All I wanted to do was to organize 2 cremations. An easy enough task you would think, but NOT for them. They are under-staffed, over-worked, irresponsible, and not interested in any new work as they are incapable of dealing with what they already have. No stability in their business.At first it's all salesmanship, until stress comes along and the real character comes out. Always read the bad comments NOT just the good and you'll see what's really going on. You don't need the added stress and aggravation you already have with losing a loved one. Don't bother with these people, you'll regret it if you do.Zero Stars (0) for making a tough time for us even tougher. Thoughtless, Careless, Insensitive, Unprofessional, Rude.

      I caught them in a lie about why they canceled my wife's cremation date two days before it was scheduled. So they told me another one. I caught this one too. So they told me two more. I spoke with the owner about the lies. So they told me another one, then said they had all conversations on tape. I called them on it...and then the ********* began....
      Apr. 20, 2022:
      10:22 am - Krisha says Apr 22 cremation canceled due to crematorium malfunction. I was at the crematorium. No malfunction.
      11:05 am - Jessica says cancellation is due to no hospital medical certificate of death. I call VGH. Amherst has my wife's body and certificate of death.
      12:44 pm - Christian says cancellation due to not having submitted all 4 contracts in time; says I didn't know because I was a new client! So why didn't they tell me? We argue - C. says the booking was never confirmed (yet they take the body). It slips out there was a double booking.
      5:09 pm - Scott (owner) doubles down on 4 contracts not submitted in time. I ask why no one told me all 4 were due before booking, and about the 3 previous phone calls. No answer of the "contract policy", but as to the lies/calls, Scott says, "...all calls are recorded by the staff..." As for the crematorium malfunction, Christian says, "We looked at the calls. Nobody told you that."
      I say I am coming to listen to the recorded conversations.

      Scott acknowledges something went wrong. He was misinformed about which contracts were submitted first. (So? Aren't they all due at same time?) I say go to the tapes. We hear Krisha booking Apr 22 for me. Then, to no one's surprise, Scott can't retrieve 6 of the next 9 conversations. Scott says he will find out who did this - his staff or someone else (?!).
      I cancel with Amherst. I, at home, I see on one of my contracts - Amherst THEMSELVES added : "...it is noted with Krisha April 18, 2022 at 9:50am on phone, that cremation is already scheduled..."
