I have been paying for assurion device protection and was told that I could bring my phone to a convenient location if it has any issues but the closest "convenient location" is 40km away and I don't drive! This is ridiculous!Telus

Telus has sent me to collections for an alleged unpaid invoice of $500, from 2019 (5years ago) Im currently a stable and valuable Telus customer and have been for years with no mention of any outstanding charges Its now on my credit report, which has made a major degradation in my score Not one mention to me via email, text, call, of this fabricated outstanding balance in the last 5 years Telus run your business properly!Telus

Worst company ever. They drilled 17 holes in the side of our brand new house. When we called to complain they said too bad you didnt say something when the tech was there. They were rude and didnt address the problem. When we canceled over it they said there wasnt a cancellation fee but then charged us $643. When we called to complain we waited on hold for 3 hours to be hung up on.Telus

Ive been a happy Telus customer for over 5 years and am completely floored by how poor their customer service has become. The website is unnavigable and services are constantly unavailable- it refers you to apps that dont work which in turn refer you to add on apps that dont work either. Its almost impossible to get through to a live agent, I spent 30min on hold, finally got an agent who sent me to another department, waited on hold another 50min until the line closed down for the night - this was following up from another call in which I was promised a call back I didnt receive - just ridiculous and unacceptable.Telus

Following an arduous two-hour wait, during which I provided repetitive information to multiple agents, I encountered a lack of departmental knowledge, resulting in repeated transfers and prolonged hold times. Subsequently, my attempt to escalate the matter to a supervisor proved futile as none were available, and I was advised to expect contact within 24 ******** is evident that the Telus customer service team may lack adequate training, reflecting a potential organizational discord attributed to the company's rapid expansion. The sequence of events, including multiple transfers, extended wait times, and unavailability of supervisory personnel, imparts concerns about the proficiency of the customer service representatives.This experience suggests that Telus' customer service team may require further training and operational adjustments to ensure a more efficient and customer-centric approach, commensurate with the company's growth and customer expectations.Telus

On August 24, 2024, I entered the **************** Telus store to purchase a Koodo *** card. I was seen by employee ***** *. I told ***** *. I needed a Koodo *** card. He grabs a Telus *** card (twice as expensive). I asked him if this *** card would work with a Koodo plan, and he assured me it would. ***** *. informs me that *** cards cannot be returned. When I get home, I throw out the receipt because *** cards cannot be returned. After several days of confusion and several hours of frustration between myself, my sister, and the Koodo **** we learned a Telus *** card would not work.On August 30, 2024, I returned to the store and explained the situation to ****** *. She informed me that without the receipt or *** card she cannot make a return. I provided the *** card, and she checked the computer. She informed me that only one *** card was sold that day and that it was sold for $0. Therefore, it could not be the one I purchased. I return home, dig through the trash, find the receipt, and return to the store. I ask for a full refund and a complimentary Koodo *** card for my inconvenience. ****** *. refuses, and instead I exchange the Telus *** card for a Koodo *** card and am refunded the difference.The staff did the absolute bare minimum at all times, and I was never offered an ********** my view, either ***** *. is incompetent and/or stealing through a refund scheme,or ****** *. is incompetent and/or lying when she told me no *** cards were sold that day.Telus

I am sitting here waiting for my services that was agreed on with telus. Yes, time are tough and money is tight and we had to make some sacrifices. Even though I missed a payment or two, I've made up the extra charges BEFORE the posted shut off date on myTelus. This is a breach of SLA as the cutoff should not have happened for another 3 days. I require constant internet connection for my income and chose telus due to the fibre having great stability. After contacting telus experts they stated the date was actually for today - but no where on my telus app did it indicate my payment needed to be in by today. I find this gross, and incompetent. Demanding a payment for a certain date, then cutting off before stating a different date, with no indication on the supper service provided. I'm a utterly disgusted with the response and lack of empathy these "companies" (monopolies) show towards honest paying customers. It's laughable what you claim is a "fair" price6 for this "service" or lack there of. Since you just need to flip a switch to cut off my well being?Telus

I finally had to cancel my Telus Smarthome Security because no one ever answers the phone. They made up some bogus reason that I had to replace my 10 year old *** equipment for an added cost of $600 and sign a minimum 3 year contact for $17 more a month. My new security company replaced the *** panel and reused all the other existing equipment. I owe Telus $18.62 but they cancelled the corresponding account number. I can't pay it online. And guess what? They still don't answer the phone.What a joke.Telus

my name is ******* **** a became a TELUS customer in January 2024. I have left messages they promise to call in 72 hour that never happened left messages on line no response no call back.this is my only option to get there attention. the account is under my daughter name ******* ****- we are having issues with calls being dropped while am talking to someone. this is happening to all family members in the account.when i spoke to customer services the called dropped twice and they stated there was nothing wrong with the services. we would like to cancel services immediately! we are not paying for dropped calls - sometimes I cant heard the other person on the other end and they can't hear me either.Telus

When we renewed our home services with Telus I was told that the home security camera was now included in our plan. I told them I did not want it or need it but she insisted that it wouldnt cost me any money to have it. I asked if there was a monthly charge to have it and she said no . I repeated my question as I wanted to make sure that she understood my question and she repeated that there would be no monthly charge so I accepted her offer. The next month I was charged $15.00 for the service. I again phoned Telus about the charge and was told I now would have to pay $15.00 a month for three years to fulfill my contract with them. If I sent it back I would be charged an enormous amount of money. So I let it slide even though I was extremely upset about being deliberately lied to. A few months now of paying and they have increased the monthly service to $18.00 a month. I strongly feel they have not only lied to me but are also now breaking their own contract with me. I am sending this home security camera back to them in the original box and I will never again believe anything a Telus representative tells me. I have also found out that there are others in my city that have had the same thing happen to them.Telus
