    When you own a three-year-old vehicle that you purchased brand new you do not expect to have the engine fail. When the engine in my 2020 Tucson failed, I was distraught and that's probably putting it mildly. This was my first Hyundai after having had only Nissans the previous few decades. After experiencing a nasty CVT transmission issue with Nissan I thought I'd try a Hyundai not realizing that some models had unfortunate engine issues.
    When my engine failed, and I started to do some research online I feared the absolute worst. Then I met Mark Patterson, the new service manager at Fredericton Hyundai who along with my service technician Joel, made a very stressful situation a million times better. They were helpful in guiding me through the warranty process and they were patient. As a woman, there are times when male mechanics speak to you in a way that assumes you cannot keep up with the mechanical aspects of your vehicle and you feel very small. To Mark and Joel's full credit there was none of that. They translated the mechanical jargon into easy-to-understand plain language while treating me with utmost respect. Yes, the situation was unfortunate, but no matter how bleak it was, they were voices of reason and beacons of hope. They acted with honesty and integrity, never once offering false hope or inaccurate information while remaining steadfast in their commitment to seeing me leave as a happy customer at the end.
    I was kept informed throughout the somewhat long process; long due to my tracking down service records and then some backordered parts both of which were circumstances entirely out of their control.
    The biggest compliment I can give the team in the Hyundai Service Department is to say that as the mom of three daughters, I would trust you to treat them right if they had an issue with a vehicle. I am grateful for excellent service, commitment and compassion demonstrated by this team. Thank you for stepping up and delivering the very best.

    Took my 2020 Kona in because the air conditioner wasn't working. We were charged for the diagnostics and were told that this would be reimbursed if they determined that the issue was covered by warranty. The AC stopped working again less than 12 hours after being "fixed." We took it back in and found out that the issue would be covered through warranty. They fixed the car and the service manager said we would be reimbursed within 24-48 hours later.. This did not occur. We continued to call the service manager and were given multiple different dates on when we could expect payment. None came true. We then started calling Hyundai Canada for help and eventually brought in the Steele Auto Group for additional support. For 8 weeks, we called them weekly. Each time the service manager would provide a different excuse and different date on when payment would be made. We then called the accounting department after being told by the service manager that the cheque had been processed. They informed us that this was not true, they had not received a request from the service manager. We called him again and let him know what accounting had told us. By the end of that day, we finally had our money. Very frustrating process to get the money that was rightfully ours and we have heard from other dealers that we should not have been charged for diagnostics in the first place. All the lies we were told and the "service" we were provided was unacceptable. Would NEVER deal with Fredericton Hyundai again.

    I checked in my car to get some issues fixed and I left for work. I told them to call me and let me know what the issues are but I stated everything which issues i thought are with the car when I made that appointment a few days ago. so when she called me while I was at work, I politely asked her that did they check all the issues I stated I was just concerned she started being rude to me. Her name is ***. She lied to my face and she raised her voice while talking to me even though I was being super polite I was just asking her about the concerns I had that did your tech guys checked it or not? Can you please check it? I was being super polite and she just started being super rude I haven’t seen anyone that much rude in their whole staff but this was my worst day ever and worst experience ever with hyundai Fredericton. It’s been three years I have been going to get my car service done to this dealership. I haven’t posted anything before cause I never had this kind a rude experience. * ***** * ***** ***** ** ** *** ********** ******

    took a vehicle in for a disabled veteran Whom I look After , to get power problem repaired (2013 Santa Fe ) they checked it out and stated It neede A turbo Boost sensor . i asked if this will fix the problem and they said Yes . so I agreed To have Work Done but after they installed the part , they Stated I needed Another Part that Cost over A $1000 , I said the part you put on was not the problem They Stated Was Part Of Problem . I Also asked for my old part back , the service adviisor went back into the shop to get it and the tech opened up his box and took my part out of HIS BOX . WHY WOULD YOU KEEP A BROKEN PART and I talked to SERVICE MANAGER( DOUG SMITH ) But To No Avail ** *** * ********** ***** **** *** ***** **** I told them i was a Lic tech Since 1980 . so i know how about Vehicles . .When I asked how they Checked The part they stated by the code that Was showing on dash THERE WAS NO CODES SHOWING ON DASH I Paid the Bill OF $354.00 for a part that was not neede not repaired my vehicle . Called the Head Office . The Person I TALKED To said give them a couple of days and they would get back to me . NO ANSWER FROM Them . T*** ******* ** ******* *** * *** *** ***** NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A VEHICLE OR BUYING A NEW VEHICLE

    Hyandai service is horrible bought a 2018 hyandai sante fe and have had nothing but problems with it. They will not awnser there phones to fix our car.

    I recently experienced an unexpected engine failure with my Hyundai Elantra, which led to a frustrating and stressful situation. However, I must say that the way Fredericton Hyundai's service department handled the situation deserves high praise and recognition.
    Initially, the situation seemed like a complete disaster, and I was left feeling hopeless and stranded without transportation. However, the new management at Fredericton Hyundai took full responsibility and went above and beyond to resolve the issue.
    They immediately acknowledged that the engine in my Elantra was poorly made and offered me a rental car for the entire duration of the repair process. While the repair took longer than expected due to the parts backlog caused by high demand, the staff kept me informed every step of the way, and they were always available to answer any questions I had.
    Once the engine was replaced, the car ran smoothly, and the staff provided me with a detailed report of the work that was done. They also made sure to follow up with me after the repair was completed to ensure my satisfaction.
    Despite the poor quality engine made by Hyundai, the new management team at Fredericton Hyundai's service department handled the situation with professionalism, care, and exceptional customer service. They took full responsibility for the poor quality engine and went above and beyond to make things right.
    Their commitment to customer satisfaction deserves recognition, and I would highly recommend Fredericton Hyundai's service department to anyone in need of repairs or maintenance. Despite the initial frustration and stress caused by the engine failure, I am pleased to say that the situation turned out really well, thanks to the excellent service provided by Fredericton Hyundai's service department. I would give them a five-star rating.

    "Expect the Best" That's what's on their sign out by the road! The customer service at this place is anything but, beginning with the general manager (who needs more training dealing with customers)! Over a 1 month period from Oct.2 - Nov. 1, 2022 I received zero phone calls regarding my car! I was the one who had to call weekly for updates. Apparently courtesy calls are a thing of the past. The last week I called and **** said my car was done last week! WHAT? They were calling an old phone# rather than the phone# I had given them on 2 separate occasions and had been using for all other communication. I live over an hour away and with gas prices at an all time high and a borrowed car dealing with this dealership was a nightmare! This was the last thing I needed seeing that I has just lost my Dad to Cancer 2 weeks before.
    I have since put a complaint in with Hyundai Canada. They did get back to me and listened my story, which was a waste of time because that guy didn't seem to care.

    Unfortuanely, phone number has been provided by you when you book in was wrong, this caused you not to receive our text massages to sent it you.
    We have repaired your vehicle (Under Warranty) in timely manner as the parts were back ordered. However when you started to use profanity because you were agitated we had no choice but stop our communication with you as we have no abuse to our employees policy. This has been brought to the Hyundai Canada's attention as well. What we don't understand is, using profanity because your car was delayed due to part shortages. This was not a civilized way of communicating in business. We are sorry for your loss and wish you the best in life...
