    Purchased a washer/dryer and stove on Sept 23/23. The dryer and stove were available immediately but had to wait for the washer. The employee told me it would be 2 weeks before the washer would be ready for pick up and if I could wait the 2 weeks I could take all 3 with only 1 delivery charge. I began calling mid Oct with no response. I then went to the store in lower Sackville and spoke with the girl who was working about what was happening. I asked for the manager or owner to please call. The girl stated that the owner would not phone me back but she would try to find a resolution to the problem. I have continued to try and call the many numbers connected to Atlantic Appliance wholesalers to get refunded my money with no success. So as it stands now I have paid 1550 for appliances I don't have and am unable to get my money refunded.

    I bought in July 29 of 2023 a fridge . I still have my receipt Invoice. I paid with my credit card total of $690. I still did not received my fridge.

    I been trying to contact Atlantic Appliance Wholesale in Moncton and the Main office in Dartmouth NS. I physically when on the location September 16 , 20 and 23 it say on the web office open but went there door lock. I send email to Dartmouth NS and Moncton no reply was send to me yet.

    I purchased a washer and dryer from this company was told only physical looks was wrong that it was tested in store and the working conditions was new. I was these are new machines at a discount price as some were dented and scraped. Dec 23 it was delivered. I contacted them immediately as the washer was making this aweful noise. I was told that's not right to contact customer service which turnt out to be a text now/plus number no one answers I have texted I have all my messages back and forth promising a new set I have told them I want a refund as this is almost 2 months of fighting with this company. The guy Alex at the store in moncton say I need to go thru customer service for the refund but they don't answer this number. What kind of Business uses text now for customer service. I have always been the one to start a conversation with discountapplaince I was told almost a month ago a truck was coming down from halifax ns store and then I was told Wednesday it qas being sent to moncton. I want a refund and them to pick this up. 1620 for the set 200 for my old set and 180 for delivery this has been a nightmare

    Hello,

     

    For ******* ***** we are exchanging the washer and dryer, we are waiting for a transport truck to come to our Dartmouth location and then to Moncton, which they are backed up and we also have to make sure we have a full load to make worth while due to the cost of the transport.

    We are hoping it will be next week.

    As per our warranty we only exchange, or instore credit, we normally would repair but we don't have a technician at the moment.

    We are doing our best to accommodate the customer.

     I am rejecting this response because: those are lies. i have all the messages and this is what they always say next week, we have a truck coming Wednesday is what i was told Monday and no where on my receipt does it say exchange only, and as far as the warranty i never received anything from this company indicating the warranty and when i asked about the warranty i was told to contact customer service number ************ which is a text plus number and indicate invoice number 5159 which i did not get a copy of. i have been dealing with these lies for almost 2 months. i have all the facebook marketplace numbers as well as the text plus messages. it is not my fault their is no technician i was told these are new machines with physical appearance damage. i want a refund for this set 1620 for the set 200 for my ol set and 180 for the delivery. this is not a joke and this company is ripping people off constantly. alex, tony and the text plus number all have different answers say oh we are waiting on a truck we have no inventory a truck is coming i have been hearing for the past month. i have yet to speak to a person.

    I purchased a stackable washer and dryer from Atlantic Appliance Wholesalers over Marketplace January 6, 2023. They offered me a discount for a new model that had a dent. $1,299. Their exact words were that ‘It’s a new unit with just cosmetic damage’. I agreed. When it was delivered the mover noticed that the one front foot was missing. On the side that the dent was. I contacted the company and they said they had two matching legs. I asked if they could come the next day to put the new leg on, I was told I would have to go to their store and pick them up and that I would have to attach it. I told them I could not. There was just me (I am 63 and alone). They said I would have to find someone to attach it. I then had to drive a long was out from my location to their store which was a big warehouse and very isolated to get the foot. I then was able to find someone to attach the leg, but it was very hard for me to find this person. We then found out that the foot would not attach because the leg was damaged inside the machine, I contacted them again, they said they would look into it. A few days later I contacted them again and was told very briskly that they would get back to me when they had a decision. That was several days ago. I now am out $1,562.99 (machine +HST + deliver) and a machine I cannot use.

    Hello,

    The customer had called the store to say that one of the legs was missing, the sales guy gave the customer 4 new legs.

    There was a small dent in the front of the machine which we sell new and used appliances with scratch and dent or minor cosmetics to them, but that wouldn't affect the leg from going in.

    Bought a fridge from them with a promise to have 6 months warranty or a like to like replacement. The fridge never worked and no one came to my place to even have a look. Was asked that I’d get a replacement provided I pay for another delivery. Got frustrated waiting for a free delivery and agreed to pay the delivery charges. Was sent out another damaged fridge and not like to like and after complaining they expect me to pay for another delivery.$100

    Hello,

    The Customer mentioned above had purchased a fridge from our Moncton location and it wasn't working properly, they did an exchange and the second fridge worked it just had a small piece of the rubber at the bottom loose, the sales person was gonna go out and fix it for the customer and the customer refused and requested another fridge which our sales team was willing to do but the customer refused to pay for delivery.

    As per our warranty it clearly states that we don't deliver, we deal with a third party delivery guy, and it also states that we don't do refunds, we only do exchanges, or full in store credits.

    The customer's fridge is sitting at the store for exchange, unfortunately as per our warranty the customer will have to pay for the delivery.

     I am rejecting this response because:


    You promised to send someone if there is a problem. The first fridge which I picked up never worked and you didn’t send anyone to even have a look at it. It was you who chose to send a replacement and asked me to pay for it. After a long 2-3 weeks frustration and discussion with your sales rep, I chose to pay for the delivery. The second fridge had the lose seal and it was actually broken/torn. Also it was a smaller fridge than the one I originally bought. When I complained about that, you expected me to pay for another delivery charge. How ridiculous business policy is it. 

    I still prefer to have a refund and not a store credit because all you have is not useful to me and I’d possible never buy anything from you guys and I’m going to put it to public on ******** and other social media telling everyone what kind of con business you guys have.
