On March 6, 2019, BBB requested the company substantiate the following claim found on their website: "Whenever possible, our floor cleaning products are Eco Friendly and our unique process removes the need to use harmful stripping agents."

The company advertises having a smaller "eco footprint"' but does not disclose how they operate in this manner. According to Section 36 of the BBB Code of Advertising, advertisers should not make broad, unqualified general environmental benefit claims like "green" or "environmentally friendly." Advertisers must qualify general claims with specific environmental benefits. The Competition Bureau describes this practice as 'greenwashing' as it does not provide details in regards to their practices and procedures.

As of April 4, 2019, the business has not responded to BBB's request.
