    On Friday November 4th I bought front load washer and dryer set from *** ******* at Avalon Purification Services. I paid $850 for the matching set and was told that they worked perfectly. Although there was no way to see them working as it was at his business and not near any hook ups, I trusted that they worked because we were buying them at a legitimate business but when I got home and had a chance to get them hooked up I put a load of cloths in for a wash and the washer was unable to spin and the timer would stay at what ever time it started at and wouldn't actually start to wash. I called to notify Mr ******* and he told me to unplug it for a few minutes and plug it back in and I tried it but with no luck. I called *** once again to tell him I wanted my money back because it didn't work as he promised but he refused and said "this isn't *******, there are no guarantees". After a few minutes of arguing back and forth he said he would get a repair man to take a look at it but I needed a washer right away and that's why I spend a high amount as far as used washers and dryers go. I didn't agree to purchase a washer that would need to be fixed before I could use it. After we hung up he called back a while later to tell me he would refund the washer and not the dryer because he knows the dryer works and even though I didn't think this was a fair offer as I paid for a working and matching set I agrees to at least get that much refunded but he did not send the money like he said he would and not he is ignoring my calls to his cell and his business.
