In January before my illness I was trying to purchase a Jeep. I had worked out an in house financing deal with AREA 51 AUTO. I tried a few time over a week to secure a date to get this vehicle but was not given a straight answer. I was advised to send this email “****************************** where I sent $300.00. This email was linked to Chester Service Center NAPA Canada . While I was sick they sent a text on the 30th & 31st to see if I still wanted the vehicle. I never received a phone call or email.

I’m finally recovering and catching up on thing that’s I needed to do and reached out to have my $300.00 returned, which clearly as shown in texts was never stated that it was non-refundable.

The person texting me stated they will contact the owner but with further investigation the cellphone number is indeed the owners.

We arranged in house financing for the customer

Once she was approved she was told the vehicle had to be dug out of the ice and would be ready for delivery the following week once the MVI was updated and any needed repairs were completed.

The customer was told to send a $300 deposit before we started the work. The customer was told the $300 would be refunded when she picked up the vehicle.

I made several calls with no response. I texted the customer one last time on Jan 31 to see if she was still interested in the vehicle. I did not get a response until Friday Mar 7 at 4:43 pm Friday stating that she was ill and in the hospital. She asked if she could get her $300 deposit back. I told her I would ask the owner.

She texted me a 2nd time and I told her I am waiting for the owner to call me back. She then texted me that she wanted the matter resolved immediately or she would take legal action, make posts on social media and go to the Better business bureau. The customer was told  if those were her terms then the answer is no.

I am rejecting this response because:

Here is a true and factual exchange of all communication.

I was never told the vehicle needed to be dug out of ice. I was told the vehicle needed to go through shop but was never confirmed a date.

I received two follow up texts while I was in the hospital unable to respond.

In regards to him speaking to the owner, I was told “IF I SPEAK TO HIM.

I was never informed nor signed anything that started I would not receive my deposit back.

I bought a car the end of may was delivered late and with damages, sent company photos of damage was told they get bck to me n everytime i would comtact them i would get he get back to me. The ad of the car says the car was in excellent condition. N was apparently just inspected since may i have had my car in shop every week with a matter that needs fixed. Im suppose to have top warranty but everytime i call nothing is covered n now being told my warranty almost out as im nearing km before coverage runs out but i hrdly get to drive anywheres as car always broke. I make my car payments every 2 weeks on time, never late so i had emailed the company complaining multiple time there advertised warranty plus the warranty i got on top of that but yet im near 6000 in parts n labor on a car thats suppose to have warranty n was advertised as excellent condition and had just passed safety but yet my rotors, brakes, bushing arms. Struts all need repaired. So again i contacted the business i bought this car from n was told he get back to me after multiple multiple attempts i finally got a reply saying that his boss said they wont be doing nothing to make this right. So i ask for boss information and have contacted business trying to speak to the boss but im told each n every time no. The guy im dealing with name is B**** n the emails i have from him he refers himself to b**** the car guy. I want this made right this is false advertisements n false warranty scamming out of another additional 3000 dollars ontop the 6000 i had to pay in cash for repairs. I have copies of wverything from the ad they had posted to the first to last msgs. I have most texts n records of phone calls. I also paod then 5000 down in cash, car advertised at 9990 but total loan im paying back 17069. And car still needs 2000 dollars with the work to it. I want my money refunded for repairs ive paid out of pocket as i shouldnt have to pay this for excellent condition car. Plus i also want any repairsthatneeds

The customer bought a car with a new MVI. It was delivered. Then over a 6 month period he took his car to his garage. Some items were MVI related some were just regular maintenance. VMI items have a 30 day or 3,000 km guaranty based on the Province of NS rules. The customer contacted me 6 months later threatening to make a complaint to BBB if I didn't reimburse everything he spent on the car over a 6 months period including oil changes. My response was no.

Hi, I am just writing in regards to ******* **** in Sackville. I financed an suv threw them 4 weeks ago. The day I got it when I left the lot the abs light came up and my car would completely stopped in the middle of the road so I brought it to **** dealership in Tusket Yarmouth area. They fixed it and ******* **** paid for it after serveral timea trying to contact them. Then it started making clunking noises so I had to take it to the dealership again for them to inform me that 2 ball joints are gone and the 2 back trailing bushing arms. They sent me up to Halifax to have it replaced. Also paid for that. Few days after I got it the turbo started acting up so I had to bring it back to the dealership yesterday and they put it on a scanner to inform me the waste gate actuator is completely gone as my suv had 0 power so they told me that was covered under warranty the parts are covered. They also told me the diagnosis was covered to find out I had to pay 380$ for that and they will not respond back to me to cover the charges for that. I also paid the last bill for the charge and brand new spark plugs I had paid for. They said nothing was wrong at all with the suv when I got it as they inspected it for 2 years…. Mind you I also have 3 small young kids travelling with me

Number one ****** ******** did not I repeat did not buy the car from Area 51. She bought the car from ******* Auto *** ******** ** ** *********. Area 51 did not have any vehicle she wanted. She went to ******* Auto against my advice. I told her she should by a car from Area 51 because we make sure all of our vehicles are in good working order before delivery. She bought the vehicle at ******* Auto against my advice. She has a template in her window. I would get her to send you a picture of it. You will see it says ******* Auto. The only thing I am guilty of is trying to get ******* Auto to cover the repair because I do their financing on occasion. I actually do financing for several dealerships.
