      I purchased a vehicle from ****** **** of Lakeview Auto Sales in August of 2022.
      I spent $32,000 on the SUV. I went to trade it in for something different in August of 2023, where I was told at that dealership that my vehicle was worth $9,000 as it has a ****** on it totaling approximately $15,000.
      I had spoken to ****** later that month about him buying it back, where he stated he would take it in on a trade. I went to ****** on November 15th to see what he would do for me. He swore at me stating it was my fault that I did not ask for the ******, would not price my vehicle to see what I could trade it in for, was very rude, and stated he did not want to deal with the situation or me. The ****** states that it went to auction as accident repair, meaning he knew about the ****** when he purchased the vehicle at auction.

      In response to ******* statement. ***** purchased her vehicle well over a year ago with the vehicle still having factory warranty remaining. She came in test drove the vehicle and was very  satisfied with the vehicle there were no issues or concerns with the vehicle at the time. She made no request for vehicle history. I was made aware after a period of time she had issues with the turbo I instructed the vehicle to go to a GM dealer to seek repair which was done. A while later I had seen her at a grocery store and she proceeded to tell me about her trying to trading it in and having the car fax and stated she didn’t get what she felt the vehicle was worth. I said I had no issue looking to take her vehicle in at a considerable higher value. She said she was going to come to the dealership but didn’t come in. Months later she called but was adamant on Honda civic and said I have nothing she wanted. Her tone was always sharp. She then came in on a Saturday which I wasn’t present and said she be in Monday. Again no show. The last encounter she came in with a friend her friend being aggressive and combative. I tried to explain that different dealers have different policies and I have no control over other dealers policy’s at this point I felt any further business dealing would be met with combativeness so I said at that point knowing I had no vehicle she had interest in so I decline any further dealings on the purchase of a vehicle. ***** purchased the vehicle at fair market value with extended warranty and has since put over 30,000kms.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      When I spoke to ****** in the grocery store, I had told him that I was looking for a civic. No where did I state that it was I absolutely would go for, I was open to options. 
      As far as you stating my tone was sharp, my friend and I approached you in an appropriate manner and tone, until you had started to raise your voice, become sharp, and use swear words towards us. I quote you telling us ‘that is bullshit’ regarding the ******. Which is when we still remained calm even though you were being very argumentative towards us both.
      When we arrived, we asked many times to look at the car to see what he would offer me for it before I considered trading it in there, however he refused to look at it, which is when we decided to leave.

      I’m failing to see a resolution. I have a witness that was in my office that heard the whole conversation. I’m not going except your interpretation of events. You fail to remember on two occasions you had stated I have nothing you wanted. I had even at our last encounter had stated your desire for a civic which friend confirmed at the time. The conversation at the time was going back and forth with no resolution.

      I got an suv from them 4 months ago and now I need a whole new underneat the hood I have 47 codes and the car does not move. I have a 30K$ loan and still paying 500$ a month for a car that doesn’t move. And the dealership is refusing to do anything about this issue.

      Vehicle was sold in good running order and with a third party powertrain extended warranty. My last conversation regarding this matter was for Ashley to contact the warranty company to help facilitate any repairs that would be covered by the warranty.  The timeline is beyond  assistance from us. Have customer refer to her extended warranty.

      The warranty is not going to cover everything that is wrong with the suv. It was obviously not in good running order for the whole car to stop working less than 4 months after purchasing.

      Unfortunately there is nothing we can do. There is a warranty provided to help with any major powertrain problems provided you have adhered to the required maintenance schedule.

      Like I said before there is a lot more wrong with the suv than the warranty will cover.
