      Nature Ridge built us a beautiful home on our own lot, they worked closely with us and were always available to us and kept us up to date on the build, A wonderful family with very skilled trade workers. It’s been 5 years now and no issues, any we had were fixed asap. Quality homes by a quality builder. Could not say enough about the building experience.

      Ended up with less than promised, cost more than expected and took longer to complete. Lack of information sharing and quality control during construction, along with multiple changes to the closing date (with very little notice), made this experience stressful and difficult. Left with a feeling of being misled and disapointed.

      We are disappointed to get this review. This is not a complete version of events that happened during the build for this client.

      The home that was constructed for the client was built on private property owned by the client, unfortunately, the client had significant delays with NS Power getting power poles installed, temporary power, then eventually power hook-up to the home, which was completely beyond the control of NRH. Without any appreciation from the client, NRH took the home to near completion with employees/trades working from generator power supply, even though we were not obligated to do so. Lack of power hookup was the main reason for construction delays on this project. It's unfortunate that the client blames NRH for all of the delays when in fact, once power was hooked up and a closing date was communicated to her, she neglected to inform her lawyer and bank of such, which resulted in the house closing date needing to be changed at the last minute. Even though funds for the home were not received on the communicated closing date, the client was upset that she could not move into the home. It's unreasonable to assume that keys for the property should be handed over when the home was not paid for.

      As with all of our job sites, there was proper oversight and quality control; we are confused as to why the client alleges otherwise. The home is structurally sound, well built, well-finished and passed all required inspections.

      The client was charged for overages that went beyond any specifications that were clearly outlined in the Building Contract; additionally she was credited back for items where she was under any allowances that were outlined in the Building Contract. The overall purchase price for the home ended up being less than the price in the original Building Contract, so we are perplexed by the client's assertion that the cost of the project was more than expected.

      Despite repeated contractural violations by the client during the build, NRH still nurtured a professional relationship with open communication via on-site meetings, text messages, emails and phone calls throughout the entire build. Team members from NRH always responded in a very timely manner to the client whenever she reached out with any questions.

      We wish this client would have communicated any displeasures directly to members of our team instead of giving us a no-so-pleasant review; nevertheless, we wish her many happy years in her beautiful new home. We will continue to stand behind our product and be available to the client should she have any questions or need anything concerning her home.
