We hired this company to install a spray foam roof on our flat roof because we were having water leaking through the kitchen ceiling. The cost was $30,000. Because of continued leaks after William's roof installation, we asked him to come over to see what the problem was. He never returned our call and didn't come over. Because he wouldn't respond, we called in another spray foam roofer who said that our new roof had the wrong coating material to protect the spray foam and that whatever was put on was too thin and we would continue to have problems. We called in a second roofer to also quote on fixing William's ****** work and he confirmed what the other roofer had said, that it was poorly done and would need to be fixed. We called and emailed William several times but he never answered which makes our supposed 20 year warranty with him * ****. We've now had to hire one of the other spray foam roofers to spray on the correct coating and check the depth of the foam to make sure it's thick enough. That will cost $20,000. We were in an emergency situation when we hired WMJ and didn't have time to check the company out. After the fact I discovered they had one review which was basically the same complaint, a ****** job and no William to come back and fix his work. I also discovered they had a D rating on BBB so someone else must have complained. As a final note, the leak was not coming from the roof at all but from a wall that abutted the roof. Flashing fixed that. $50,000 for a roof that probably didn't need replacing, and having to hire another roofing company to correct William's work. Don't use this company at all.

I recently had WMJ do a foam spray coating on my roof in Brockville. I have since had three roofers on the roof to inspect it and all three said it was a terrible job. The top UV protective coating was so thin that there were many spots where you could actually see the foam underneath which another local spray foam company said was a guarantee that I would have serious problems within two years and another coat is necessary. I now suspect that the actual spray foam is also far too thin. I have repeatedly called and emailed WMJ who never returns the call or replies to my email. I found a review on ******** from someone who has had the same experience with calls never being returned. So much for the 20-year warranty the owner William Johnston advertises. I have since discovered that they have (had two addresses, both of which turned out to be only mailboxes, the one in Barrie apparently closed two or three years ago. * ***** ******* *** ******* ***** ** **** ** ** ******** * ****** *** ***** **** ******* ** *** ****** *** *** ************* ***** ***** ***** **** *** ******* **** *** ******** **** **** ** **** ** * * *******

Yes, we did a Spray foam roof job for Mr. *******. I told him I would be back in a few weeks to inspect it and it was VERY IMPORTANT not to go on the roof for a couple weeks and to let everything cure and almost immediately he was up on the roof himself and with other contractors and damaged the coating. He did complain to us about other leaks that was nothing to do with our roof we did for him and it was coming from another location not the roof we did. I was up again and inspected the roof myself.  If he had stayed off the roof as I suggested he would not be having any issues. Also, Mr. ******* was wanting me to lie on some government documents about the R-value and forge some documents. ** *** **** ********* ** ********. I did tell him his warranty is void. He has been up on the roof over and over again when he wasn’t supposed to right after the job was done. He even admitted it to myself. If there were any issues with the roof, we absolutely 100% would’ve stood behind it but considering all the circumstances I’m not going to be looking after it. I told him he can re-coat the roof himself with any elastomeric or a quality roof coating. He had a good roof if he just left it alone and it still is a very good roof if he just gives it another coating.
