    Fraudulent clawbacks of invoice amounts based on random and inaccurate information. From about December 1 2023 to August 1 2023 my sole proprietorship was contracted by Maxwell Paper dba Maxwell Media to perform on-site replacement of pinpads or debit machines on the **************. Maxwell is contracted with ******* ************* and contracts out to small businesses or proprietorships. From the outset, the payments division *************************************************************** would reject portions of an invoice claiming various excuses such as travel time is reported shorter on ****** Maps - regardless of higher traffic and ferry delays. I have documentation that shows EVERY invoice I submitted had at least a couple hundred dollars rejected. It was stated that if there were details to substantiate the claim I could re-apply, but these were always rejected. I stated a number of times that if they continued the practice I would seize performing service for them. In the early days I chalked it up to my inexperience with their system but over time it became apparent that they were in the habit of clawing back at least a little from every invoice I submitted. On the last payment they took back $157.50 and I quit. There was still hours I had performed and I issued a final invoice for $400. No payment has been received. I have my history on ****** Maps to prove my travel time as well as my written notes on the various work order papers I carried with me.
