********* ******* ********** We purchased a motorhome from this company and entered into a rental agreement where they rent out our unit on our behalf. I received an invoice for repair to fix a rust spot on the bumper of our motor home. I then emailed the business in January advising no other repairs are to be done without authorization from us. We continued to receive invoice after invoice for cosmetic repairs as this company controls the finances blatantly disregarding our continual request to be contacted prior to the work being done. We feel we should not be responsible for these charges as a result. I will forward my conversations with the owner regarding this matter which he didn't bother to investigate nor provide the service report that we provided to them upon purchase, proving my case. All the while continuing to bill duplicate charges for the same repair, cosmetic charges that have nothing to do with maintaining the unit for rental. * ********* ** ** ******** ****** ** ** **** *** ************** ***** **** ******* **** **** ** **** *** **** ******* *** *** **** *** ** ********* ******* ********** We decided to end our relationship with this company and now have possession of our unit. All reconciliation for the previous month is done on the 15th of every month. They are yet to provide me with my refunds of insurance, administration fees and rental income so they are withholding our funds. They claim they are waiting for the insurance refund from that company but I have contacted the insurance company directly and was advised that the refund was already processed. I anticipated this which is the reason I contacted them directly. I will also forward all invoices for your review. ****** ****** ** ** *** ********* ** *** *** *** **** ********* **** **** **** ****** ********* **. Thank you in advance.

    Business Response

    Date: 25/11/2022

We are in receipt of the communication from Better Business Bureau.  We would like to respond that these allegations from the client are baseless without merit.  We have a signed management agreement from the client to allow us to manage and maintain this unit while under our rental program for maximum rental days.  At no time have we done repairs  to this clients unit without authorization as it states in the agreement.  Should they have proof of this, please send them along so that we can defend our position.

As discussed with the client several times before they took their unit off fleet from our program,  we have not done anything for which we were not entitled to and o not owe this client any compensation other then the awaited insurance refund from the insurance company.

    Thank you!

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am forwarding copies of correspondence to the company Manager that was sent in January advising " no repairs are to be done without authorization" with another sent to thier accountant in June. Also the extensive conversations with the owner Harry. They were all fully informed that no repairs were to be done without authorization and yet they continued to bill us month after month.  Additionally,  there is no visual proof that any of these repairs have been done. The unit looks exactly as did it prior to the dumper being repaired as well as  the multiple  " wood work touch ups" we were billed for.  I have taken our unit to a licensed garage for inspection and they were also not able to match any of these "so called repairs" with the work billed for on our invoices.

    Sincerely,

We thank you for the response.  However, we maintain our position that no compensation is due to this client as we have done everything with the client as authorized by the management agreement that allows us to repair the clients unit for rental purposes without written consent.  If this client wants further clarification about the authorization, they are more than welcome to consult with their legal counsel so that this may be laid to rest as to the authorization needed to repair the unit.

I am rejecting this response because:

This company continues to hide behind " signed management agreement ". We never claimed the billing practices were illegal.  ********** ********** ************** *** * ***** ********* *** ******** *******.  We asked them to stop and they blatantly refused. It's pathetic that this company has to resort to this kind of behavior to stay in business.  We will continue to share our experiences we endured  with this company.

    Sincerely,

We are responding to this complaint by still maintaining our position that the client had a contract with out company that allows us to maintain the unit while under our rental fleet and we did not need permission to repair their unit as stated by them.

This contract is a legal binding document between two parties under a management agreement and both parties are bound by it.  By sending a text to inform us of getting authorization does not over ride this signed contract by the client.  It would require a legal signed document to go off fleet and sever our contract altogether in writing.  Text does not qualify a legal termination of the contract.

We hope this clarifies the situation.

    Regards.
