      I purchased a new washer and dryer from GE canada on 12/21/2023. Since then I have had 3 claims made and on the last one found out they were in charge of warranties. I have no idea who they are for them to tell me they are GE and give them my personal information without any notice that they are indeed doing claims.
      Email to me says We are so give my your information or you don't get service!
      Now with all the fraud over the internet, I should just trust this person and do as she says?
      The tone was not professional at all.
      I have still not heard from GE as to who they are to this point in time. Research tells me they are a company, NOTHING tells me they work for GE.

      We contacted their costumer service and explain the issue, but you need to understand that calling GE or emailing GE does not mean you get to speak with someone right away or that they would respond your email in a timely matter, emails and phone calls made would take 1 or 2 weeks to be respond, take in consideration that by then we are with snow in the ground and we have our house full of drying racks with wet laundry all over. It took them weeks to send a service man here, it took them months to order a part for the dryer, after half a dozen visits from the service man over a 6 months period and him rolling his eyes every time he came, because according to him he could not fix it GE said that their Engineer, that hasn't seen the dryer, *** *** ****** **** ** ** ******* thinks the lint door is what is causing the stains. We waited, and waited, took pictures, sent emails, placed phone calls, and did every single ****** thing they asked, it took 6 long months the entire Canadian winter, drying our laundry on racks inside our house and finally after a very heated phone call with one of their managers, Beatriz L. to issue a replacement. The replacement is doing the same. I contacted them 2 weeks ago I sent pictures I haven't heard from them and I am sure I wont heard from from them, ********* ****** *** *** ******* *********** ******** ********** ****** *** ******* * ******* ******* ** **** ***** **** ** *** *******. ********* **** * *** **** ******** ** ******* ** ***** ** ******** ** ****** *** * ***** ** ******** **** **** ** ******** *******. All we want is a full refund and they can come and pick up their junk of my house.

      It took them 1 year to solve this issue, it’s not worth the stress and aggravation, the Canadian government should not allow this company to sell their products in this country. I will never buy anything from them * **** ***** ********* ***** ******

      My new fridge broke down 6 month after i purchased it. A service man was send but wasnt able to fix it and ordered a part from MABE. Since then i have been on the phone with them numerous times a day. The matter was escalated to the manager called KENYA.She makes a lot of promises, how quickly she will get back to me with the tracking # for the for the shipment which supposedly left 5 days ago. How long does it take to get a tracking #. so far it has been 4 days. Now when I call , i am being told that she is unavailable. she was unavailable the whole day. ********* *** ** ******** ** ****** Meantime i have been without a fridge for over 10 days and had to throw out hundreds of $$$$$ of food. if the part is on back order , which i suspect it is, why can I not get a new fridge ,mine is obviously a lemon. ****** *** ** **** ******** one person( kenya) says it has been shipped, the call centre people say its on backorder.       On Saturday October 8/22 the front tempered glass on the outside of my GE Oven exploded for no reason. I bought this oven about 12-15 years ago from **** *****.
      I was making Thanksgiving dinner and set my convection oven to bake 375 degrees. Once the oven was at the selected temperature, I opened the oven door and set the turkey about 15lbs in the pan on the bottom rack in the oven and closed the oven door I then put the heat down to bake 325 degrees.
      I went upstairs to get ready for my guests and after 15 minutes I heard a loud popping sound. When I came downstairs, I could see that the glass at the front of my oven door had shattered into a million tiny pieces. I could not believe this since I never slammed the door shut or banged the oven door when I put the turkey in the oven or ever while I have used my oven.
      My oven is about 12 to 15 years old, but I do not care how old my oven is. This should never have happened and luckily the glass did not explode and hurt someone who might have been in the kitchen.
      I boarded up the outside glass door since little pieces of glass were falling out everywhere. People could not believe what happened and no one had ever heard of such a terrible incident happening to anyone’s oven before.
      I ordered a piece of glass right away from **** ********* *****, totaling $246.16 and had ********* ****** - Guelph come and install the piece of glass on October 17/22, totaling $120.00.
      I sent an explanation of what happened, 3 photos of the shattered oven glass door, and receipts for the amount that I had to pay to have this repaired to GE Customer Service. After much back and forth I was notified that a GE manager would be looking after my case. I was informed today that GE plans to do absolutely nothing to help me or even offered to pay for any of the repairs. This is unacceptable and I hope nothing like this happens to anyone else. Someone could have been badly injured. Terrible customer service.

      2021 I bought a stackable washer/dryer(placed it on the main floor)
      *** ** *** *** **** ******* ** *** **** ** ************ *** Water fills and sits in the machine.
      1st GE service person replaced a part.
      2nd GE service person told me it was the governments fault. They subsidized a GE ECO friendly machine and the sensors interfere with the wash/dry cycles.
      He could not fix it and had me sign that the machine was working.
      I do not agree with this conclusion. I must start the machine 2 times with 2 loads of water as the machine does not drain on the first wash. I do not consider this to be eco friendly. The machine is a dude/lemon. GE Manager advised that 1) 3rd visit (after the 1 year mark and i advised that i have been using an older machine in the basement as i can hang clothes on an outside line). Cold weather is here so started using the main floor machine again. NOT WORKING.

      * **** * ***** **** **** **** * ***** I purchased a fridge Model number GNE27JYMFS advertised as dispensing chilled water. The water dispensed is barely lower than tap water temperature. Mabe informs that the fridge is working as designed and they refuse to accept return despite my having requested this within days of fridge installation. False advertising to say the least. The freezer door falls off repeatedly, the drawers sound ready to break everytime they are opened and closed. This is either a lemon or the worst quality appliance I have ever encountered.
