    I signed up for a free trial at the gym - based on an advertisement of the first month free. A week later, they charged me for the first month membership. I was not expecting them to charge my card and there was insufficient funds which then led to a fee of 45$. I then called to cancel, and they told me I would have to pay the balance plus another months fees because they require 30 days notice. As a good will gesture they offered to waive the late payment fee. I agreed and made payment via credit card over the phone. I then got the signed documents for the cancellation request via email.

    A few weeks later, I noticed another failed attempt (they were trying to charge another months fees) confused, I emailed and asked why since I had already cancelled. I received a response stating not to worry, my membership was canceled and there would be no more payments coming out.

    Two days ago I received another failed payment attempt, so I emailed again. This time a customer service agent responded and said that the membership was not canceled because of an outstanding yearly gym membership fee of 67$ was not paid and therefore they weren’t able to follow through with the membership cancellation.

    I was a memeber at the gym. My membership was arbritaily cancelled. I paid for a full membership in advance. The gym manager Carolina P. refused to return my refund for the months that my membership was revoked. I am requesting help to have my money returned.
