On March 20, I have scheduled an appt with the company to repair my leaking fridge water dispenser, the appt was scheduled 10am-1pm and one of their *** ***** technician arrived at 11:50am, upon arrival, he simply sat down on the floor and unscrewed the panel and asked me where was the leaking, i told him its somewhere at the water dispenser and he instantly closed back the cover and told me the valve, water reservoir etc all has to be replaced and the total cost of parts $347 + $225 labour + tax came out close to $650, I was a little shock about the charges and I said I want to think about it, as I was going to pay him the $80 which I was told the amount of consultation fee and he said thats the fee for him to come to my house, and he got me a quote and diagnosed the problems and now the charges will be $225 + tax if I am not fixing it! I was pretty upset but i thought whatever since he came and agreed with the repairs and paid him a cash deposit of $460 with a balance of $190 when job are completed. **** ***** ** ***** * ********* ****** **** ******* ** ***** *** ***** *** ******** ** ********* ****** **** ** ******* *********** I immediately called the guy back and asked him to give me the balance back as i didn't want to proceed with the repair, he refused and told me to call back the company to cancel, when I called back, they said someone will get back to me later in the day to arrange the refund, and till 4:45pm, someone called me back from the company and told me the charge was $225+tax and I will get back $201 and they will send me a company check in 10 business days, I asked her to send me a confirmation email but I was declined and got hung up. I called back again and another girl picked up and finally send me an email confirming my refund. Called company to repair a microwave on February 27/23. Repairman came the same day, told me it would cost me $379.43 for the part and $300.00 for labor plus tax. The repairman told me it would be cheaper to fix the microwave then replace it. I trusted his opinion and signed a contract. Paid them $679.43 on February 27/23. The company called me on March 20/23 to tell me they could not get the part, therefore they could not fix my microwave, and that they would refund me $379.43 for the part. I asked to be refunded 50% of the labor cost ($150.00) and they told me that the labor costs were non-refundable. I asked to speak to the owner or manager and was told that there was nobody I could talk to. I was initially quotes an $80 service fee over the phone when booking the appointment
When the technician arrived at my home, I told him of the issues we are having
He then told me he would diagnose the issue
He was looking at my dryer for over 2 hours, and then called me back downstairs.
He then billed me for $310 without fixing a single thing and told me the cost of parts needed to fix said appliance.

I received a refrigerator repair from this company on Jan 20/23 and paid almost $1,000.00 (969.20). They installed a part and I was told there was a 6 month guarantee for all parts and services. The fridge is now leaking water as it was prior to the repair. When I phoned for a follow up they told me there was a 30 day guarantee and that has expired. They offered a reduced service call which I declined as they did not repair in the first place. I asked for details of the part they installed so I could see what guarantee the company gave for the part and she wouldn’t give me that information. Our ******* Fridge was not cooling and we called Appliance Repair and they came on 21st Feb 2023. The understanding was, for the visit they would charge 90$ and if there is any repair then it would be 280$ and parts would be extra.
The Technician ***** came and he checked and mentioned the Inverter Control board has gone bad and due to dust at the back of fridge the Piston is Jammed and once the new board is installed, the issue would be resolved. He mentioned the price for the board would be 600$. We mentioned in that case we would not opt to repair and would pay the 90$ his service fee. He mentioned since he opened to check the panel, the minimum service charge is 280$ and he mentioned he will check at his office if he can reduce the board cost and service fee and gave a 100$ discount and he clearly mentioned there are no other issues and gave a 100% confidence that this would be fixed. On 6th Mar 2023 when he came with the board and fixed it, he mentioned that the fridge will cool in 7 hours and with the initial advance of $527.35 on 21st Feb and 252.02 on Mar 6th we paid an overall $779.37 . After 7 hours, we still found the fridge working and gave a call to customer support and they mentioned the compressor was gone and it would cost 1800$ which shocked us. Long story - took my deposit of $1000 for a refrigerator repair (which they told me they did not take ****). We hired this company to repair a built in microwave. Company showed up more than 3 times to repair the unit, and actually ran the unit without anything in it which appears to have fried the magnetron and the motherboard in the unit. The unit no longer works at all. The company sent someone else to look at it who claims the door needs to be replaced, but the entire unit is dead and this does not appear to be the problem. The company is advising that they will not give me a credit for the > $2500 we've already spent in this process until we buy a new unit and can show them the receipt. Issue: we called when our fridge stopped working. We advised that our fridge was only 5yo and were wondering if there was a manufactures warranty. We were advised there wasn’t such a thing. We agreed to the $80 service charge to assess. They came and advised there was a guaranteed fix. It would work no problem. We were charged $327.70.
The fix did not work. I found out after they came that there was a manufacturer warranty still in place and I called them on it. *** *** **** **** All I got was an “oh well” followed by give us another $1739.20 and we will fix it. I asked why the guaranteed fix didn’t work and got another oh well.

Feb 4, 2023 We called The A Team Appliance Repair to fix a leak in our dishwasher. The repair man said it was a gasket that needed to be repaired, said he didn't have any, but cleaned out the "gunk" on the door of the dishwasher. The repair man let the dishwasher run for about 20 mins, and it didn't leak. However, he left without testing door, and our dishwasher door only opens 1/4 of the way and cannot be used. Contacted the company, I sent of a video of the door no longer opening, and their warranty department "rejected" our claim. We paid a total of $316 and our dish washer no longer opens. They refuse to accept liability for it. Both my wife and I have called at separate times, and gotten no where. Please, we need your help.
