    I had this company come to my door and tell me they would provide me with a new driveway, rip of the old driveway and lay a new one and then take away all of their materials. First off, they only tore away the bad spots but left the majority of the driveway alone and just put ashphalt over the old driveway instead and then left ALL of their garbage behind on my front lawn, including the large pieces of old driveway. When I mentioned it to them, they said they would absolutely take their garbage (including a 2-litre empty bottle of coke). When I came home from work, ALL of their garbage was still on my front lawn and I had to remove it myself. I was assured they would come back in the spring to touch up any spots and put fresh tar over everything. Well, I have called them to book appointment and guess what...I called the two (2) numbers they provided, they are ALL out of service. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    November 13, 2023, pavement was done by Trade Right Paving at my home 75 Grand Pr in *******, **. The gentleman that came for the company was *************************. He started by giving me a price of $4500 which was too much for me since I live alone and am a senior. He came back and said he would do it for $ 4000 and I said I would think about it. I then called him to tell him that if he was back in the spring, I would reconsider. He came back a third time saying that he would do the job for $3500 and I accepted. I paid by etransfers to *************************. It is ***** now and weeds are popping through the pavement. I try getting a hold of the company and the phone numbers are no longer in service.

    I hired Traderightpaving to pave my driveway last fall and already it's coming apart on the right side. I've attempted to contact the company through email and phone but they cease to exist .

    In the fall of 2023, I engaged Trade Right Paving to pave my driveway, signing a contract that included a 5-year guarantee. Initially, the work appeared satisfactory; however, within a few weeks, numerous weeds began pushing through the pavement, creating unsightly and hazardous "volcanoes" throughout the driveway.Upon discovering this issue, I promptly contacted Trade Right Paving and spoke with ***********************. ****************** assured me that the driveway would be repaved, scheduling the work for November 17th. Unfortunately, this date passed without any communication or action from Trade Right Paving.Subsequently, I reached out to Trade Right Paving via email, and received a response that someone would attend to the matter on April 2nd. Despite this assurance, there has been no further communication from the company, and it is now April 4th. Moreover, all attempts to contact Trade Right Paving via phone have proven futile, as both numbers provided are disconnected, and emails are bouncing back.As a paying customer, I expect ********************** to honor their contractual commitments and rectify the substandard workmanship on my driveway. I demand that Trade Right Paving fulfill their obligation to repave my driveway, as promised, in a timely manner.

    In mid December/2023 we had someone come to our place to offer to put in an asphalt driveway as they had excess material from another job and were looking for people looking to get their driveway done locally. My husband agreed and we were told we did not have to pay until we were happy with the job. They had an unfortunate issue with a machine and were unable to come to our place until later in the day. While they did put down recycled material it seemed very crumbly from day one and never seemed properly packed... they were ******* at the end of the day to pack it and it seemed loose from the moment they left. Despite this we were assured it would ****** up and we stayed off the driveway for 5 days even though we were told in 3 days we could drive on it no problem. From day 5 it has just been a mess. Any rain that has fallen in the subsequent month and a half has driven a river channel into the asphalt{if you can call it that). It has been so crumbly that my cat walking over it leaves footprints. At least before this our driveway was road crush and hard and dependable...now we just have an absolute mess on our hands. I have contacted the company multiple times to try to find out what is going on and keep being reassured that they will come and check it out but we still have not seen anyone or had anyone stop by... its been a month and half. Not only this but they demanded the money when they left even though at this point we were quite skeptical and didn't feel it was going to hold up. We would love to have this rectified but definitely don't want someone else to have this happen to them in the mean time.

    On November 7th, Trade Right started work on our driveway but did not complete it. Despite the fact that the work was not completed. They demanded $5,500 from a $6,000 invoice. I talked them down to $5,000 as they said they would return the following day. We are now 2 months past this date and despite our numerous requests to have the work completed, nothing has been done. They keep saying they are coming but never do and do not advise us of any reasons for not completing the work. On top of this, they damaged the end of our driveway that was already paved and did not fix it. I sent an email just after Christmas and they have ignored it. I am requesting a partial refund as the work was never completed and they did some damage on the other part of the driveway. I am including pictures of the damage and the unfinished driveway. I also have the quote and the signature indicating they received $5,000. It appears that the work was done by their New Brunswick/Nova Scotia branch.

    Good morning, We would like to re-open complaint# ******** as we are in the process of selling the property and the buyer has asked for a discount on the purchase as the driveway has deteriorated. We would like to receive $1,000 instead of a new driveway in the spring.

    Well before you agree to anything with this company make sure you understand exactly what you are getting. They came door to door which is against bylaw in my city for starters. I was made to feel that what they were doing was removing my old driveway and paving a new one, but that's not what they did, all they did is what is called an overlay. So on Sunday evening when I agreed to what I thought was a new driveway I shook his and signed a contract which my mistake was not reading it over properly. I asked when it would be done which I think is a fair question. He told me that they would do prep work on Monday and pave on Tuesday well to my surprise when I came home Monday it was all done. They did no prep work I have security video that shows what they did. The job was rushed and poorly finished. They showed asking for payment, but before I payed I had some issues with a few things and after bringing them up it seemed that he didn't care and kept telling me that I have a 5 year guarantee on all work so doesn't that include the finishing. Now it's been 4 days that I'm trying to get them to come clean some mess that was left behind and to look at some issues. They have not come back yet even after telling me 3 times that they were going to come. So don't waste your money on them cause reading some of the reviews they've had some similar issues with other customers.

If you want we will remove the existing driveway dig it out 9 inches play 3 inches of rock compactor down Lay three more inches of rock and compactor down Then lay 3 inches of commercial grade Asphalt

    I reject this response because I no longer trust your word, so unless it’s on contract and on that contract, it tells me what day you will be coming back what you will be doing and how long it will take with your signature at the bottom of the contract you can email me the contract I’ll give you a few days to email it to me.     The work that was done did not meet the criteria established in our contract - namely, the contract specified 3" of asphalt would be applied over a gravel underlay and all garbage would be removed. No gravel was put down, we absolutely do not have 3" of material, and the garbage has to be removed at my own expense after damaging my lawn.Additionally, because the work was not done as indicated, within 1 week there were obvious failures in the work and this was reported to the company. No followups were made after someone came to look, I have had to initiate all communication. An appointment was set for Oct 27 which was missed and allegedly due to a scheduling error. The "correct" appointment has also been missed and it is now too late in the year to apply asphalt.In summary, I have not received the work as indicated by the contract despite having upheld my end (i.e. the transfer of funds). The "5 year guarantee" specified in the contract is also not being upheld as the past 6 months have not seen a remedy to the problems.

    Transaction date July 5th and 6th. Paid $11,300.00 trade right paving They committed to grade, gravel and lay 3"commercial grade asphalt and 5 year guarantee. They didn't put gravel on driveway prior to laying asphalt and only applied 1 1/4"in some areas and 1/2" in others.Bumps and weeds appeared after barely 30 days of job termination. They will not respond to messages and when they finally did call back October 4th, they promised to be here November 15th but nobody has been here and again will not respond to message.

    July 07,2023 paid Trade Right Paving $11,300.00 for paving our driveway. The job started July 4th and finished July 05. The job was sold as recap and remove old driveway, gravel, 3 of commercial grade asphalt, guaranteed for 5 years. We were told that we wouldnt pay unless fully satisfied. We fully paid July 7 and remained of driveway with all vehicles for 3 to 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, we started noticing areas where lumps were forming and weeds were coming through and not just on edges. I tried to make contact with company a few times before they finally called back after I messaged them on October 4th that I would post pictures of the job and our dissatisfaction on their website. We were promised that someone would be here November 15th but nobodys come so far and have not answered my messages. Now we have a minimum of 30 areas that have the bumps and weeds coming up and want our driveway repaired as job was sold to be completely satisfied. They did not put gravel as a base and barely applied 1 1/4 of asphalt and some ares have only 1/2. The job was sold as 3 and was in an extreme hurry to be paid in cash only which was not mentioned when job was sold. We live on a pension and dont have that kind of money to waste. Our neighbors also had their driveway done at same time and also have these problems.
