Had Lavergne Construction come and visit the property for a quote for an upper level addition Dec 27, 2022. He came was pleasant and provided a quote for $146,700 on January 3rd, 2023. We spoke and decided that we would go ahead with the renovation in which he turned the estimate to invoice on Jan 13th, 2023. Due to financing issues (mortgage lender does not finance structural renovations) I had to cancel the renovations. No contract was signed, deposit of $6000 was given Jan 20th and notice to cancel was given Feb 9th at 4:11pm. This is within 30days of the Estimate being produced - no signed contract, no materials purchased, no drawings, no permits pulled. Job was to start beginning of May 2023. Therefore Job cancelation was 3months in advance of start date. I requested my deposit be returned due to the 30 day cooling off period and I have been through the run around and that there is a clause in his contract (I have not signed anything nor does any documents he had sent me refer to non refundable deposit). Last contact with the contractor was March 6 stating he will work something out. I messaged again April 16 for my deposit and now I have been ghosted. I need help to regain my deposit of $6000 for materials and work not performed on my property.

We hired this company to do out bathroom renovations. They claimed that they had certified electricians and plumbers. This bathroom was small, and was supposed to take 3 weeks, ended up being 5 weeks, with a lot of anomalies. They didn't have certified plumbers or electricians, they did the work themselves. They didn't do a walk through and our shower has leaked and the bathroom sinks keep leaking. We have called them to fix the problem, but we have been ignored. They want money upfront for a date, which they don't even abide by, they were a week late. This was for $5,000.00, then they wanted more money to buy products, which we gave them $20,000.00, but things had to be returned, and they said because they were waiting for their money to be returned that we had to buy the products. They gave us a quote, which ended up being a contract then an invoice, all in one. No receipts were ever provided and the things that were bought with our money, they didn't leave any of the products behind. ** **** ***** ******** ******* ***** **** ***** *** *****  I want my bathroom done properly! They are not qualified and should not be running a business. I am filing a complaint, because they are ******* ****** *** and not fixing their mistakes. They have done a horrible job and the customer service is not good.
