      On July 24, 2023 a vehicle was delivered to me on financing through car city. Upon delivery of said vehicle I was told I would be able to test drive, check the vehicle out etc before agreeing to keep the vehicle. When the delivery happened I was not allocated the chance to test drive it or check it out. The delivery people left before I even got in the car. I discovered after starting the car a 2015 **** escape that there was an engine light on and the backup camera was damaged. I attempted to contact the dealership, Car city, to get assistance and return the car. Instead I was told the car financing agreement was signed and there was nothing they or I could do. They offered to have the engine light scanned by a local **** dealership, when the scan happened it was determined that there was a fuel pump issue. Nothing was done to repair this even though I had paid extra for a warranty. The car was costing me over $100 in fuel weekly and I was only getting a measly 400kms from a full tank. This is a 4 cylinder vehicle. I believe I was sold a lemon, I reached out to the dealership multiple times for assistance but was either ignored or told they wouldnt assist. Because of the major mechanical issues the car had I could not af**** the payments on it and wanted to return the car to the dealership and cancel the financing. I was told this is not something they could do. Eventually I had to stop paying the financing costs as there was no way to af**** $100 weekly in fuel and the over $400 a month payment for financing. Now I owe over $17000 for a vehicle I didnt even have for a year.

      I was sold a faulty, beyond repair vehicle and I want the deal canceled and any monetary loss compensated.I'd also like a rental vehicle paid by the dealership, and my vehicle replaced with another vehicle worth equal value.

      Hi, it was purchased May 22, 2024

      Not delivered until June 8, then picked up again, by their drivers, and had it until l, June 25. On June 26, I notified them that there was white smoke coming out of the exhaust and they told me they couldn't do anything until July 2. July 1st I was left stranded in a parking lot at 10:30pm with my children, and on July 3rd they still hadn't picked it up, so I took it to a ****** dealership to be assessed.

      On October 18th, 2023 I purchased a 2022 ****** frontier pro 4x the sales person educated me that I have *** insurance in the case I ever met in an accident the *** will pay out the remaining balance, however; I got in a accident a few months later now the *** insurance ppl tell me the sales person whom sold me *** insurance gave me under false pretense and that they will not cover the balance owing on the vehicle and when I tried to contact the sales person he doesn't answer my call anymore he doesn't reply to my emails. I am disgruntled and upset that car city and their employees just de-fraud me out of *** insurance and took my money

      I was attempting to buy a vehicle. We agreed on a delivery date/down payment date to be January 12. After contacting the sales person stating that I could not afford the vehicle/insurance until February, he agreed for delivery/payment in February. The insurance coverage that I submitted is VOID b/c I couldn't afford the coverage until February. The salesperson did not inform the bank the vehicle was not insured and the first payment came out of my account today. In speaking with him, he stated that he hasn't been to work and someone was "SUPPOSED" to contact me stating the payments were still going to be coming out... even though the vehicle is NOT insured and was not to be delivered until February.

      Car city set me up with a vehicle financed through access credit financing for $40000 paying 26.9% interest on this car that sells for less then $15000. Upon receiving the vehicle a 2015 Ford Escape with 169000 kms on it I discovered that the car had an engine light on, as well as the rear back up camera is intermittently not working. As well as only receiving a 1/4 tank of gas with the car. I reached out to the sales agent and he informed me that they do not supply a full tank of gas with a car purchase and that they would only fix the engine light issue. I want the car to be in good running condition when purchased not having parts that are not working. I want to be reimbursed for my time and for the money I've paid out so far. And I want a vehicle in good running condition.
