    Highly recommend Lodder Bros. I had another company come in to help with water backing up in my basement. The water started backing up again a year after the work was done. Called Lodder Bros and they clearly understood what the problem was, explained why they didn't need to use a camera to look down the pipes, (unlike the first company who spent hours looking around with the camera) and stayed until they finished one part of the job so would be able to use the kitchen sink. I would hire Lodder Bros. for any of my plumbing needs.

    Contracted Lodder Brothers to install new septic system. Didn't inform us that we would have 4 giant lids exposed in the centre of our backyard. We asked to have a French drain installed to help prevent water saturation and they decided it wasn't necessary. Alarm went off 2 separate times after a few months of use. Lodder brothers then decided a French drain was necessary. Had to dig up 1/2 of yard again (which we had to then reseed at our expense). During installation of septic, we had 2 floods. We called Lodder Brothers and they charged us emergency rates because it happened on the weekend each time. Told us the plumbing inside was the problem. It would have been nice if they had informed us of this problem ahead of time or at least the potential of the problem. We ended up hiring a different plumber to replumb and it cost a fraction of what we were charged from Lodder Brothers when they came to assist us with the flooding. We were instructed to reduce our water usage 4 weekends (no laundry,showers,dishwasher) before we even had the new septic a full year. When employee picked up the cheque he promised me a 5 year written warranty, but they changed their minds and said they couldn't actually do that. We've had neighbours have new septics installed within a much shorter time period and without destroying their entire backyard. Our neighbours haven't had issues with flooding or septic alarms either. Perhaps Lodder Brothers can do a great job, but that was not our experience. It started out fine, but a week in, it turned out to be a nightmare. It felt like we were on the phone constantly trying to resolve issue after issue.
