    I have a garage with a sliding glass door in the side. The moving panel jumped the track and broke the glass. Called this company and a rep came by and said they could repair the window. I was under the impression they would replace both panels with shatterproof glass.. They took measurements to order glass and asked for $1500 for the glass. I tried an electronic transfer but it didn't work so gave service ********************** *************) cash. I got no written estimate of work to be done or receipt for payment in spite of repeated requests for them.***** and another person came to install glass. Discovered ***** had measured wrong. They asked if I wanted the right sized glass and I said yes. Started working and cut frame to fit glass. Installed door but it didn't close fully or lock from the outside. I complained but ***** said to call them in the spring. Seemed in a hurry to leave. Asked for an additional $2375.00 cash. I paid him $1800 and said I had to get the rest later. I again asked for a receipt. didn't get one. Asked again for a receipt but have never received one.The door didn.t fit. They couldn't wait to leave. There was a gap at the top right of the door and the jamb. Said to call him in the spring. The racoons can slide the door open and get in my garage.I feel the $3875 is excessive for one single sliding door. The job is incomplete and I can not get a receipt.On January 12, 2024. I spoke with **** - 647-96-6639 at Summit, . He said he had to talk with the person who did the work. Now it is 4 weeks and I have not heard back from them.I chose this company based on the glowing reports on their web site. I now feel the reports are not accurate.I am totally dissatisfied with the work, I feel I was charged too much and the job didn't meet my expectations. The company doesn't seem like they wish to resolve the problems I have outlined above.I want the job completed, an accounting of the charges and written receipt. I don't want ***** to do the work.
