      Not shocked at the one star reviews of Commonwell after personally dealing with issues myself. The authorized payments pulled fine for the first 3 months, after that there were issues with my premium pulling from my account. I had contacted the financial department to resolve this issue, when I was told by an employee, I am the 10th person to call and inquire about issues regarding authorized pre-payments and that they are sorting it out on their end. I had asked for me to switch to direct bill payments via online banking, as this was causing additional stress in my life, when it came to them pulling my payment on different days either before or after the agreed date of the 7th of each month, which resulted in NSF charges. (excluding the dates where the 7th fell on a weekend or holiday, which is understandable. I then set up direct bill payments each month that would automatically pull. I was then contacted by my insurance broker a day or 2 after with a cancellation of my policy if I didn't make my premium payment with an additional $40 late charge.I then reached out to the financial department regarding the same issue and was told that it was an issue on their end, once again. After this happened 3x in a row, I received mail saying my policy was canceled as of March ****, due to non-payment of my premium, with an additional charge of $211. My bank statements reflect I have not missed a payment. I currently have an open claim with commonwell for a no-fault accident and this was also a factor in my policy being cancelled. I would steer clear of this company unless you are okay with being out $$$ due to their financial department issues, with no help for resolution. I have a new insurance policy with another insurance company that requires 2 months upfront, which is an additional $500 out of my pocket due to Commonwell being completely incompetent when it comes to billing issues on their end.

      After reading all the reviews about commonwell, I am actually not surprised on how they easily refused to renew my policy for 2023, I had 1 accident this year due to a fact beyond my control and they just refused to reniew my insurance, atleast if they had said we will rise you monthly payment I would have been ok cause that's a consequence but indeed with this company you cannot make the mistake to have 1 accident if so then bye bye your insurance. that's sad
