      Sept 26/23 Paid ***** for striploin steak Price advertised on-line in the Metro flyer for ******* found at "smartcanucks.ca" was 6.99.Actual price charged was ****. NOWHERE was it indicated that ******* prices were different than the rest of *******. Store refused to deal with it. Reason that this ****** me off so much is if I were to change price tags on something they would call it illegal- but it seems perfectly fine for them to lure me into the store with a false price. They also advertised Irresistable chips at $.99 and the shelf price was ****.

      Hi Team,

      Spoke to the customer, and apologized for his experience. I explained to him information on third party websites do not provide the correct information about specials at our store as these specials/sale items vary store to store based on the community it services.  I educated ***** on viewing our websites directly for the most updated sale information based on the postal code he selects and also the option to subscribe to our weekly flyers that would be sent to his email. ***** was encouraged to reach out to the store manager or us at head office should be encounter any issues in the future with regards to our products or store.

      A $25 gift card was offered as a gesture of service to which he was happy about and apologized for his tone. He was appreciative of the follow up call and resolution.  ***** has no further expectations, this matter is now resolved.  Our store manager will have the gift card and contact our customer as to when he can pick it up.
