      This organization provides terrible service. For example, we have a furnace care contract. Last Jan the furnace was vibrating - we called Enercare for service. The service technician said the heat exchanger was perforated and “red tagged” the furnace - it could be used during the minus20 degree temperatures. A sales person came in the same day - asked for $1500 more than the closest competitor- was insulting - thought they had us over a barrel. The furnace was serviced last fall and given a good rating - the heat exchanger was fine then. I saw the perforations when the furnace was “red tagged” - the holes were very large. Bad service all round - ****** ****** ** ***** *********

      I received a letter from Enercare dated Dec 8th saying I had purchased a maintenance plan for my cooling and heating system. . I don't even own a cooling system. and I do not rent my furnace from them either, only my hot water tank. I contacted them on Dec 22nd and requested they cancel this as I never agreed to the "maintenance plan" and reminded them that since they have no signed or verbal agreement as proof that I did, **** **** **** *** **** *** ******* *** ********** and that I would be reporting them *** ******** ****** ** ****** *****. The response was "we have to open an investigation". And then on Dec 24th I received an email that said they had cancelled the plan. ** ******* ***** **** ***** ** ** *** ***** ****** ******** ** *******   This all started when they sent me an email saying that they were offering a free inspection of my 17 yr old heating tank that I rent from them. Inspection was all of person looking at tank, saying "no rust...all good". He then offered to clean my furnace as a courtesy for free. Sure. Free is good. Well as it turned out not so good. When I called them about the letter that said I had "purchased" the plan, they said it was because I had let the service person clean my furnace. What is even more confusing about all of this is when I first spoke to the call centre person to set up the "inspection" I was told that the separation of Enercare from ******** would not affect my services or costs of my rental and that my rental included service/maintenance. If that is in fact true why am I now being asked to pay for a maintenance plan. **** ** *** ******* ** ********* *** ******* *** ******* ******* **** * ** *** *** **** *** *** ******** *****

      I got my bills overcharged and no explanation.
      My Hot water tanks were paid but probably they did something so no hot water and I had to get into a contract with them again as we cannot live without hot water.

      ** ******* **** ******* **** **** ******** This Company provides good maintenance and protection services however they will overcharge you *** ** ******.
      I had a horrible experience **** ******** with their billing process. I have 2 properties with Enercare and out of nowhere the company recently sent a bill for more than $500 for the month for one house without providing any details.
      The monthly regular amount is $63, and I was charged $500+ out of nowhere. I called asking for the reason for the amount and no proper explanation was provided.
      They only told me this is related to a correction of last year’s billing which does not make any sense. Then I requested a detailed breakdown of the charge and they still have not provided it.
      Then they offered me 20% discount on that bill, but I want to know why I was charged and want them to correct this overcharge!

      I have been trying to cancel my plans for years. They keep telling me to call back in a specific month..i just want to cancel..when i call back in the specific month they leave me on hold..When i call back again, I am told i am too late and have to wait another year..

      I left work early so a technician could come inspect my water heater from 3pm to 7pm. Waited all night and he never came. I got a receipt time stamped at 2:07pm saying he came to my house and inspected the water heater ?? **** ******** **** ** * ********** ********

      On November 1st, Enercare came to install a furnace humidifier. The installation was good. I asked for the paperwork for the install and was told I would receive the info by email. I NEVER DID!
      I called numerous times and was advised that I would receive the paperwork and to date, I NEVER DID!
      Why is it so hard to get the paperwork?
      EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

      Enercare will send a technician without prior notice for their annual check up. They sent one yesterday and the technician parked in the drive way called me to inform he is there and left. Not knowing my mom was watching him, then they claimed that they came but no one was home. No car was parked outside. Then another electrician called me today, we asked for this one, he called me and left a VM. I called back he did not pick up he said he will come in 12:20 pm, it was 12:10 when I checked the VM. I waited but nobody came, again they claimed they came but nobody's home. I called CS but the agent was rude as well telling that there was no appointment. This is not their first time to come here and pretended to parked outside and left. For years that we have been with them, I have to wait outside and guide them to our main door just to make sure that they will come and no excuse that nobody's home.. have you really checked Enercare of ho well you do with your service? We have a plan with you and the main reason why we took a plan is for us to have the convenience of getting a quality service

      Horrible company with ZERO customer service. Endless problems with the replacement of my inoperative hot water tank. Tried replacing it three times with no success. No hot water for two weeks.
      I recently purchsed a new hot water heater from **** *****, made plans for a different company to complete the hot water heater replacement, complete the vent installation termination work and change the old black ABS pipes to current, up-to-code PVC pipes.
      Now, extremely worried that Enercare/******** will continue to bill me after cancellation, as they are decentralized, have no direct telephone numbers and email addresses, and redirect clients to Columbia, South America. ZERO customer service *** ****** ** **** ***** ****** ** **
