      ** *** *** ***** ******* * **** **** ***** ***** You will be locked into outrageous deals for rentals that you had no say in, or signed any contract on. If you want to buy out the items and stop paying rental fees they will charge you double what the item is worth.
      Customer service department is also completely inept, you will passed to 4 people in a call center and resolve nothing. **** **** *** **** ** *** *** * *** ****** *** *** ******* ***** **** **** **** *** ****** *****

      Booked a service call with Enercare to have someone come and fix my hot water tank. The guy showed up and when he looked at the tank and didn't see the error code he said that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know what the problem was. I knew what the code was, I told him and he still refused saying that he needed to see it, he asked me why the code wasn't there and I told him that I turned the tank off and back on again so I could have hot water over the long weekend, his response "who told you to do that? why would you do that?". I said that I had to take a half a day off work to be home so he could fix my water tank, his response "well that's not my problem", I again told him that I knew the error code, it was at this point where he started accusing me of arguing with him, I told him that I didn't understand why he was being this way and couldn't he just fix it because I knew the error code, his response "what don't you understand?". I don't understand why a service technician wouldn't believe me when I told him the code and that I have been through this before and had it fixed without issue, his response "well that's impossible, we don't work that way". He then said "look, I'm not going to stand here arguing with you, there's nothing I can do unless you want me to pull it apart and replace parts that may or may not fix it". I said "look, just hear me out, this is the code ***, can you not go off of that and see what the problem might be?" his response "nope, sorry, have a nice day".
      Usually, I have no issues with Enercare, but this guy, Paul, was disrespectful and obviously doesn't understand customer service and trusting and/or willing to work with the homeowner to fix the problem.

      ** *** **** ** *** ************** ******** We moved over 2 months ago and they are still taking monthly payments. The new buyers of our home have confirmed they are also paying the bill for the water heater rental they took over. Double dipping EnerCare? ***** ** **** We have called 3 times (first call 2 weeks before we moved) and spoken to 5 different people, yet they payments continue.

      Mike V. was our Service Expert that came and serviced our units. He had great pointers and suggestions. Would strongly recommend him to anyone needing assistance with repairs

      I had made appointment and no once showed up yet they documented they did.
      I called in and made another important.
      My visit was scheduled between 7pm and 11pm.
      Worker called and said he was too tired at 8pm and wished to schedule the appointment for 6pm the next day. Worker never called or showed up.
      Terrible service

      Spent 9 months wondering who we was renting the water heater in our new built from. Called Enercare countless times, to be told it's not them. 9 months later they send a letter saying they identified a system error causing the delay. We asked to buy-out the heater and contested the back-charges rental fees because if they had recognized our address when we first moved in there would be no rental charge. 1.5 months later so almost a year later.... still no response from enercare. Everytime we call they say we'll call you and nothing... All i want is to own my water heater at a fair price.

      Terrible company to try and end our rental agreement of our air conditioner unit. We regret ever going with Enercare. I sent the company an email after a 48 minute frustrating call. Worst customer service. They don’t care about their senior customers, either.

      Please do not sign up with this ***** business. They take your money and don’t deliver services. I’m out literally hundreds of dollars.
      The $10 a month once a year check your furnace plan, tell you you need a new one, unless you bought theirs, you have to pay every month, the $50 plan for almost a year, even though your new furnace has warranties.
      And they don’t replace expired water heaters until they burst.
      When you try to plead your case, they tell you to email, then say no you can’t get out of it anyways.

      Enercare advertises 24 hr service on their own rental water heaters if contacted before 5:00 pm.
      Water heater failed Friday morning and when I called Enercare ‘service’ somewhere outside of Canada the call was answered and I was told on 2 separate calls that it would be MONDAY before a service representative could be available to us. NOT 24 hours as advertised.
      I did receive a follow up call that came up on my caller id as originating in Hungary.
      On our own NOT SUGGESTED by Enercare we chose to rent a new unit as it could be installed on SUNDAY.
      Can’t service as advertised in 24 hrs in a large urban area BUT CAN RENT AND INSTALL A NEW UNIT BEFORE they could come out and service our existing one….

      **** ******** ** * **** ************ ** * *******. They claimed to fix my water heater and then it broke the next day. They then told me they needed a special part and what they did the day before didn't fix it - the new part would be there in a day. A week later and multiple phone calls everyday and they eventually told me they forgot to order the part. I decided to cancel and called another company and had it fixed that day. Then they send me a bill for the "service" they provided me. I told them why would I pay a bill when they did absolutely nothing to fix my problem. Now they have a collection company calling me to try and collect. **** ******* ** * ********* **** *** **** ******* ******** **** ** *** *** - if you value honesty, integrity and good service do not become a customer of this company.
