      If I could give 0/5 stars I would but couldn’t proceed writing a review unless I provided something. I bought out my rental program from Enercare approx. 2 years ago and the billing department made a huge mess of the buyout process within my account and it took Enercare several and I mean SEVERAL months to correct this. My account was even submitted to collections and upon completing the investigation, the agency confirmed Enercare screwed up and they closed this out for good. We thought this nightmare was finally over but this year they decided to start harassing us again. They made up a new fees, sent us old “welcome emails” from 2020 (wish I was kidding) and harassed us phone call after phone call. I AM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER. Each call was a different story, they changed the amount we “owed” multiple times and out of numerous calls, I got lucky (or so I thought) and one of the reps advised they screwed up once again and had removed me from their system/contact list. They kept quiet for a few months and now I’m being harassed all over again via phone. The invoices stopped showing up in our mailbox though, how interesting. I have never in my life witnessed such insanity.

      Missed first two appointments and late for the third. They were supposed to do AC and furnace at the same time, but when they showed they only would do the AC. Looking for someone new.

      I am being forced by Enercare to continue to pay for furnace protection, even though they will not maintain the unit for me, because I brought the furnace from another vendor.
      Customers should be careful with purchasing furnace protection with Enercare, If you need to replace your furnace and do not use Enercare, you will have to continue to pay them for the service.
      I requested they cancel the service, but said they only cancel if I purchased the furnace from Enercare, which I did not. So since I was still paying for their service, I called them to adjust the fan speed on the furnace, The service technician came and told me to call the company that installed it. Then I asked what am I paying you for.
      So basically, I have to pay Enercare for six months of a protection plan that they will not honor. How many of us get paid for no service, none of us! *** *** *** ***** *****

      Called Enercare last night at 10pm after doing research and seeing their great plans. My AC quit cooling and a tech was here by 9am this morning, super friendly and was out by 9:30am. Easiest service call I ever made! *** signed up my furnace too now!

      ** * ***** ***** * * **** ******* * ****** * ***** * *** ***** ******** *** **** **** *** *** ***** ******* ** *** ****** ****** They ********** *** people to leave contracts after 10 years for equipment that is not sufficient for the size of the home. $4,500 buyout fee for a 10 year old air conditioner that shouldn't have been installed in the first place? **** * ***** They are taking advantage of people who cannot afford to pay their absurd penalties in this economy, so we have no choice but to stay with them.
      Which is where the real kicker comes in... I'm trying to get an estimate to use Enercare to replace my air conditioner, and I've been on the phone with their team for over an hour, being passed from one representative to another, hung up on or transferred to a department that can't help me. I have explained my needs to 8 different people who tell me not to worry, they'll help, and then put me on hold and minutes later another person introduces themselves and asks how they can help. I'M TRYING TO PAY THEM MORE MONEY, WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT. **** **** ** *** **** *** ***** *** ******* **** ****** ****** *** ******* ******** ** *** ***********

      It was Beginning of april my Tenant called said no Hot water. I called Enercare and they schedule Tech visit next day he could not fix said a parts need to replace, we waited 8 days then replaced the faulty parts. Now Tech saying another parts need to replace and said he will come next day to replace it. Before he go he shut the system down and we do not have Hot water and no heating and out side was snowing. we waited another 7/8 days to parts to arrive. Called Enercare and Tech visited and replaced the Parts. Issue is fixed but it took 17 days. *** ************* *** ******* *** Why they are Renting such an Item that does not have parts available to them. During the waiting period My Tenant had impression that I am not taking any action. but i did. **** ******* ** ** ****** ****** ******* ** *** * *** **** ** ******** **** ** ****** *** ***** **** ***** Enercare agent promised me for $150/day will compensate but when i asked they said agent gave you wrong information.

      I am not taking it. I asked them if you take that long time to fix any Unit you should take it back as I am not interested rent such a unit which does not have reliability. Please note I called minimum of 50 times in last 3 years for this unit. and I fix myself another 30 to 50 times without calling them.
      I live 50 KM away guys Its a night mare for me to handle this unit.
      When i asked take system back, they said I have to buyout, I am not going to buyout a faulty unit as you see it has long history of bad experience. Better give me a good unit and let me know what is the ETA to fix any issue for the unit as i have a tenant over 65 years old and I can not take this risk. They just ignoring it and not answering .
      I am still fighting with them. i am hoping a nice resolution.

      *** ** ** **** ******** *** ** ** ****** ** *** ****** ******** ****** *** *** ***** ******** ****** ****** ** ******* I had a terrible customer experience at Enercare. They double charged my account and it took over 4 months and 10 calls to finally get them to issue a refund.
