    the owner came in June to fix our roof siding and flashing. He came for a few hours and then said he would come back to finish the job. He has not come back. I have called him once a week, sometimes twice a week. He does answer and says "he's on his way" but never comes.
    we have texts saying he will come and never does.
    we paid him $1400.
    we will like our money back and find someone to complete the job!
    He promised over and over he was coming on Saturday dec 16 and didn't come.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The owner son has called on Wednesday Jan 17 at 4:00pm and said he agreed to give me a FULL refund and to text him my email address for the refund via etransfer. I sent him a text message with my email address and the next day said he changed his mind and wasn't going to give me a refund.

    Correct, and upon review further discussion with the team we came up with the conclusion that it was unfair for us to give 100% of the money back and still offered to come take care of the service or give a partial money back. The home owner wants $1,400 back and hire another company for $200-300 maximum to put ONE single downpipe. We have given the home owner multiple options of how to solve this issue and she rejected it.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    When Baz aluminum
    first came to do the assessment in June in person to my home. The job entailed
    fixing the eavestroughs and flashing. He was suppose to make the slop at the
    peak of the the gazebo and then slop it around the length of the front of the
    gazebo and the rain water would go into the down pipe along the side of the
    house.
    That
    is what we discussed and agreed upon and paid is full. Paid in cash!
    He
    came… did the flashing and never fixed the eavestroughs or made the slope for
    the rain water.
    On
    the next rain fall which was in June, the rain water was coming out of gutters
    etc...
    I
    called him immediately and He came back 2 weeks after my call and said he had
    made a mistake and he will correct it and make the slope. He said he would have
    to make a cut at the peak of our fascia and slope it down and then make a cut
    at the 90 degree angle were the gazebo turns to make a slope again.
    We
    have been going back and forth since June.
    He
    did came back in November to “look” again and said to fix the problem they were
    going to put a down pipe on my post facing the seating area where we eat. So
    when it rains, all the water will pool up at our feet…
    What
    happen to re-doing that issues as promised and putting that down pipe on the
    side of the house like every other house in the world!
    Not
    only did he promise to fix his error he never called back and now they want me
    to agree on a “quick fix “ which is a health and safety hazard.
    Also,
    they came in November and left garbage in my backyard and driveway. **** ****** ********* *** **** ******** ** ** ******** **** ****************
    And
    they didn’t even finish screwing the aluminum because he ran out of nails.

    Yes we did come in November and the home owner saw us on the roof for about an hour trying to fix the issue. We called the home owner and said it does need another downpipe which we will come and put on because we did not have the colour of the downpipe that day. In recent weeks we have agreed to come and the home owner is rejecting it because she wants the work done for free. We are doing our best to please the home owner and come to a middle ground, which she is refusing. At this point I am more than happy to give portion of the money back for 1 downpipe, but the home owners want everything. I will not agree to this because the home owner is being unreasonable in every way possible. She is refusing for us to come and fix it, and she is refusing a small refund for the downpipe that needs to be installed. We will not be paying back $1,400 for a $200 fix.
