    I hired this company to tile my front entryway, and kitchen, and install countertops in the kitchen and ensuite bathroom.
    On the surface, the buying experience at the store was average. One of their representatives helped us select a tile, select sinks, and countertops.
    After installation, within 3 months the grout started to crumble and fall out of the tiles. Within 4 months, tiles were moving as we walked. We accidentally dropped a wine bottle on the floor and one of the tiles broke to expose a hole that went right down to the subfloor.
    We contacted Ridgeway, and spoke to Carmelo (the owner) who pushed us off, and claimed the original installer was trapped in China, and couldn't comeback to fix the job. We demanded that another tiler come and repair what they did without success.
    Carm suggested that they would inject epoxy under the tiles in order to sure them up so they wouldn't move. Sceptical of this solution, I demanded that an agreement be drafted in writing that if this solution failed within a year, the entire floor would need to be redone.
    That's when Carmelo disappeared. He would take, or return our calls.
    We ended up having to spend over $10,000 to remove what Ridgeway Design Centre did, repair the subfloor, and install new tiles.
    Both Carmelo (Carm) and his wife, Jennifer were owners of this company at the time, *** *** *** ** *** ********** ***** *** *****. They did not fulfill the warranty which guaranteed the work for 2-years. They didn't return our calls, or make an attempt to resolve the issue.
