  Moved apt to house, when they first arrived the building's garage door was broken- so they happily helped fix it and then provided a fast and friendly move. Excellent !

  The service was excellent. They guys were friendly and accommodating. They never stepped on the floor unless it had a runner on it, they wrapped every piece of furniture prior to moving it. They were fast and efficient.

  I recentrly moved out of a 2-storey home to a condo. I retained the services of First Rate Movers based on recommendations on neighbourhood groups and I was entirely satisfied. The crew were professional, hard working and very polite. Their work showed good coordination with everyone knowing what they had to do. There were no incidents or accidents. I was entirely satisfied with this move and feel I got value for the money. I have no hesitation to recommend First Rate Movers.

  Hired First Rate Movers after contacting several other companies and so glad I did. Was very impressed by their professionalism, speed and friendliness. They arrived on time, put runners everywhere (we had wall-to-wall beige carpeting), wrapped up all furniture in blankets, dismounted the bed and tables, went down 2 flights of stairs to the truck, and when the move was over there was nothing scratched, no dirty floors or marks on the walls and was billed as estimated. Totally satisfied with this company and recommend it highly.

  I have had to move numerous times over the years and it was never a good experience, till now. First Rate movers were professional, timely and polite. Four great guys who worked hard, placed everything perfectly without any damage, scratches or lost items, Highly recommend this company

  I used "first rate movers" for my move once in 2010 and one more time recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received.
  **** ***** contacted me after I filled out the form on their website and described the number of items in the move after, and provided me with an estimate. Based on the positive experience I had with them ten years ago, I knew they would do a fantastic job!
  Moving day is often a very stressful day, and moving is often time-sensitive. It's really important to pick the right team for your job to avoid any surprises! Some take advantage of the client's situation and offer them cheap rates and then surprise them with higher costs when the day comes!
  The ****s team was professional and efficient and took great care of all my belongings. The move was completed on time and within the estimated budget.
  Communication was excellent, and all my questions were answered promptly. I highly recommend "first rate movers" to anyone looking for a stress-free moving experience.

  First Rate Movers are Rock Stars!!! The crew ***** ******* ******* ***** **** *** ****** were professional, beyond efficient and extremely cohesive as a team. In under four hours, they loaded 25 years of our lives into two trucks, drove 93 kilometers and unloaded everything into our new home. They took extreme care to wrap every single piece of furniture with moving blankets and disassembled and re-assembled our gym equipment. Their teamwork is so well established that they hardly had to speak about what needed to be done, everyone just started working. They were also very pleasant to deal with and handled the move with humor and grace. I should also mention that **** coordinated the details of the move with me and was informative and attentive. I knew exactly what was going to be required to do our move and how much is was going to cost. Thank you First Rate Movers for making our transition such a pleasant experience.

  I needed to move four heavy pieces of furniture around my home, up and down flights of stairs. I contacted a few moving companies. Some did not even respond (I guess the job was too small) and others quoted what seemed like a ridiculous price. **** at First Rate Movers answered my call, explained my options, and quoted a reasonable price. The movers he sent arrived on time, moved the items efficiently, and avoided all the walls even in the steep narrow stairwell from the basement to the main floor. If I ever need movers again, or know someone who does, First Rate Movers is getting the call.

  Hired to help move large furniture items and was pleasantly surprised with how amazing and efficiently they worked. The two gentlemen that helped with my move were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be using their services for any future moves!
