      My daughter bought a house this past summer that had 2 Moore Propane tanks. Soon after I changed to another propane supplier for the house (less than 2 months). After making the change I received an invoice for a restocking fee for the tanks that were returned to them by my new supplier. I called them about this invoice and they said when I bought the house I assumed the contract of the previous owner. However, after being supplied the contract for the previous owner, the contract was not signed and the terms and conditions were therefore not agreed to. The contract would need to be signed to be valid to be transferrable. I have asked Moore Propane to stop harassing me for this payment but they continue to do so and said they would get a collection agency to get the money. The people at Moore Propane do not understand contracts or customer service and I would advise everyone to not use them as your propane supplier. Most other propane suppliers do not charge restocking fees.
