    Unsafe Heater plug installed on the front bumper.Ice formation inside the female rendering in unusable and unsafe if someone unknowingly uses DE-ICER to remove the ice .

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues operating your Block Heater in your Vehicle. We do perform the installation guidelines set out by Toyota Canada. There is a cover on the end and is operational as it should.     I am rejecting this response because:

    The response provided by Toyota as shown below is unsatisfactory.
    I am being denied use of the plug heater when needed (i.e below 20degress celsius) because ice formation is found inside the receptacle preventing the male plug from being inserted into the female.
    This was  the situation found by the Toyota Technician who used a high-pressure hose and a piece of metal to remove the ice.
    The Technician mentioned the flap does not make a proper seal to prevent water and snow from getting inside the plug.

    We simply installed a factory designed accessory I do recommend that you do contact Toyota Canada for assistance. Toyota Canada has the design and has tested and released this accessory. Should you want it replaced, we could absolutely do that for you, however it sounds like you are unhappy with the design of it which is a Toyota Canada part.

    vehicle listed at ************************************************************************** its not certified and if i want to purchase the car its **** as is, not at all whats advertised, seems very shady, tried to explain i have screenshots of the add, contact was stopped by dealer, and then car was apparantly sold for the advertsed orice, not the **** as is orice i was provided from sales person via email, innacurrate descripion pricing and poor buisness practice

    Hello

    In response to this complaint regarding the potential sale of a 2013 *** that was advertised for sale on our website at fair market price for comparable vehicles.  This vehicle taken in as a trade in.  It appeared to be a quality pre-owned vehicle, so as such we posted it as a retail unit and proceeded to complete a safety inspection and complete detail.  Upon further inspection following the safety standard inspection our Service Manager expressed to us that this vehicle has an internal oil leak, doesn't fail safety for this but may not be ideal for retail sale.  In the meantime ******************** was having dialog with one of our product advisors regarding potential sale.  Given the updated information we deemed this vehicle NOT for retail and removed it from our advertising.  We offered ******************** an opportunity to purchase the vehicle "as is" at a fair price with full disclosure of the oil leak.  He insisted we sell it retail at our asking price.  We chose to sell it with disclosure at auction rather than sell to a retail customer.  We are within our right as a business to make prudent decisions. 

    Also, I reached our personally to ******************** on three separate occasions and left voicemail but did not receive a call back.
