I am extremely disappointed with the service from Reliance Home Comfort. I signed up for their service, but when I recently called for a repair, I discovered that my furnace’s blower motor had failed. The technician informed me that the part would take time to arrive and instead suggested replacing the entire furnace. He mentioned that a sales representative would call me to discuss options, but no one ever reached out.
Over the past three weeks, I have called multiple times (2-3 times per week) for an update on the part, only to be given empty promises that a service manager would call me back. That never happened. Despite my repeated follow-ups, there is still no ETA on the part’s arrival.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I called local stores myself, and they confirmed that the part is readily available. However, Reliance refuses to take any action to source it locally. Meanwhile, my household ** **** ****** has been left without heat for weeks, which is completely unacceptable.

Reliance installed a water softener in my home just over a year ago. This was well done, with a good cost incentive.
However, since then, my 2 requests for basic information have been ignored. I've waited 2 weeks for an answer: nothing yet! I find this unacceptable.Reliance Home Comfort

I lost 2 days of working waiting for them to come and change my hot water tank.The first one they did not have time do change it so I had to make another appoinment and then the second time the were 2 hours past the time they told me that they would be here.When they change the tank remove the shut off vale that was on the pipe and never replace it nor did they tell me.If I have to replace the tank I am going to buy my tank and have a profession to install it and it will not be reliance.And reliance can take there tank back because the customer service *****.The customer has to wait for reliance to repair or replace .I always thought the customer comes first not lastReliance Home Comfort

***** ** ****** My sister went and rented an air conditioner from Relience, biggest mistake of her life. My sister passed away so we contacted Relience to find out what she was paying. She had had the conditioner for approximately 2 1/2 years which means she had paid close to $3000 in rent, we wanted to pay it out as her house was sold and it was part of the sale. After going through *** **** *********** individuals at Reliences costumer service that were now help what so ever. We couldn't even understand what they were saying and I know they couldn't understand English. They kept sending us a rental contract, not a buy out. We finally after a dozen calls found out to buy out it would cost $6300. That means almost $10,000 for this unit. The landlord informed us that the water heater was removed by you, which led to the account being transferred to collections as our equipment was removed and disposed of without our knowledge. Current amount owing to collections is $1007.33.

I had a water purification system placed in my home that has not been working for over a year. A year ago we were told that it was an issue with our well so we spent thousands of dollars to have it looked at and upgraded which turned out to not be the issue. They send techs to the home who run a backwash on the system and then leave without checking to see if it is fixed. Within a few hours the system blocks all water to my home and I am left with no water. The last tech they booked to come and look at the system was supposed to bring a new system to replace it called to say he was on his way he was asked if he had the system which he responded no. We have called for assistance multiple times with no help. We have spent tons of money paying a bill because we are stuck in a contract with no working systems.Reliance Home Comfort

Hi,
I am a Reliance Home Comfort customer with a Plumbing Protection plan. I have been paying monthly charges with a hope when I need their plumbing service, I will have a professionally qualified and a competent plumber to take care of my issue. Yesterday we had a Reliance Plumber come to our house for a clogged toilet and they couldn't unclog it and instead asked me to replace the whole toilet. They said there is some really solid hard stuff stuck in the toilet, such as Plastic piece or something. When I showed my dissatisfaction and asked for a more senior plumber to be sent, they sent another plumber in the afternoon and he couldn't unclog the toilet either. I requested a call with their manager, and got a call from an extremely **** and ******** Reliance manager named "****" who kept talking to defend his plumber without having any concern for the customer.
The cost for toilet replacement by Reliance was quoted as 480 plus tax. That's an exorbitant amount for a toilet replacement. I decided to call an independent plumber who came to change the toilet we were done with an toilet replacement under $300.
To check if the blockage was caused by any hard object we cracked open the old toilet only to find paper towel, nothing else was stuck in there. And any ********* plumber can unclog paper toilet clog from a toilet. I wish I was not misled *** ***** ****** by Reliance Home comfort into replacing a perfectly fine toilet. I am seriously offended that I had to replace a working toilet and bear unnecessary financial cost *** ****** *********** for the urgency created by not having a working toilet and scrambling to replace it as soon as I could.
* **** ******* ** ******** **** ******** ***** ***** the agony of talking to an extremely **** manager named **** from Reliance Home Comfort, who showed no sensitivity to customer.
I DO NOT recommend Reliance Home Comfort for their plumbing service.

it's areally annoying company they put me in a contract for 10 years and I can not cancell my contract for them it's really hard to deal with this company I'm paying for almost 13 k the last time I call and I want to cancell my contract but they told me that I'm not yet done for my contract until May this year.They said I need to buy out the furnished but I told them I don't want to buy out the furnished after I'm done for my contract Itold them I don't want to stay with them but they insisted me to buy out the furnished. so please help me how to get rid of them thanks a lot I hope you can help me how to deal with this company.They want me to stay with them for ever for renting or buy out their furnished .Reliance Home Comfort

We purchased their home comfort plan and when we need to use it this weekend, when it was -20 degrees outside, **** *** ******** ***** **** ** *** ****** they failed to provide service. When they finally sent a technician out, after giving us the run around and giving us a ********** appointment time (waiting over 24hrs since our furnace went out) the technician said that they didn't have the part that was needed on hand because it was a particular part due to our 'unique' furnace so we'd have to pay $200 out of pocket to get a distributor to call out and see if they had the part that was needed (no guarantee), otherwise we'd need to wait 48 more hours for them to return with a part in hand - it was -20 all weekend. So we called a local furnace repair person, they responded in 30 minutes with the correct part and said that it wasn't a unique or special part that was needed. ** ******* *** since spent hours being given the run around on the phone by various members of the reliance team and we still have no resolution but will 1000% be cancelling our plan. Customer service is terrible and their sales tactics and packages are misleading at best. There is no emergency service coverage and it appears that the only furnaces they can fix are their own - ***** *******Reliance Home Comfort
