      This company has been told to stop calling myself and my mother
      They call her EVERY day several times a day.
      I have stated several times that I will no longer be dealing with them in any sense, yet continue to ****** beyond any logical sense. I just got 3 voicemails today alone.

      They are asking my income details, family income and child care benefits. as per Canada Privacy act not supposed to collect Customer financial information and personal information. very wrong things this company doing it. I don't understand what is relation with my billing.

      very High prices with all there services.
      they won't let you buy out with high prices and they charge high prices for monthly bills.
      I never seen this kind of company in life. * *** **** ** **** ******

      Back in 2017 I bought a house and was making calls to connect my utilities. I got a call back from someone representing themselves as an ******** employee explaining I needed to sign a few papers to complete my account. I agreed to meet this "representative" across the street from the ******** building in Toronto at 500 cunsumers rd. He explained I needed a few quick signatures and I proceeded to sign some papers he handed over a **** thermostat. I asked him what it was for he said it was complimentary as a new customer to ******** and there was no charges associated. I didnt ever notice extra charges on my bill because of paperless billing. 7 years later I get a bill for $58 from a company called Simply stating its for my **** thermostat rental. Apparently ******** stopped all third party billing recently so "Simply" is now mailing me directly with charges. This is when I finally noticed I was paying for something I was told was absolutely free by someone who did not work for ******** .

      ** * *** *** ** *** ******* **** rented my furnace from them so I will not even deal with their ********* sales practices. But three days ago my furnace stopped working. So they got a third party technician out to have a look. He showed me a chart showing that given the problem, age of the furnace and cost to fix it should be replaced. So I thought at long last I can get rid of this furnace and this company. I will just point out here that it was minus 20+ the night it happened. I have called several times only to get a complete runaround: “I’ll get back to you in an hour; someone will call shortly; oh it’s been escalated to the highest level and someone will call by the end of the day, now 24-48 hours.” I have no replacement from anywhere, there is not a single manager that will speak to me aaaand we are in for a cold snap. * ** * ******* I have pets, I have plants. WE ARE FREEZING. How is this company allowed to continue operating? How as a consumer do I not have any rights with these people including a timely response to an urgent situation? ** **** **** ***** ****** ***** ******* **** ******* ** **** ***** ******** ** ***** ***** **********

      **** **** ** * **** **** *******. After paying for ten years on time every month, they still have not removed the lien on our property 2 months later! I have talked to numerous reps and still fighting with them. THEY NEVER EVER DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO! They pass the buck from one rep. to the next. ******** ******* **** ****** ** **** *****

      I am extremely disappointed and ********* with Simply Group for providing me with Furnace and Water heater and air conditioner leasing and services.
      This company signed me up clearly using high-pressure tactics, ********** and incomplete information to lock me into long term contracts. I was told that water heater life is 8 yrs and AC and furnace life is 10 yrs. , so contract term will be 8 years and 10 yrs. have completed 8 yrs and when I called to close the contract, I was told that it is 15 yr contract . I have already paid $20K by this time
      To add to the woe, monthly service price keeps going up every year and in between. Which was never mentioned, discussed or declared at the time of contract signing.
      Requesting company to close my contract and relive me from this binding immediately.

      I am extremely disappointed with Simply Group and Utilebill Home Services Inc. for their ********* behavior towards my ******* parents. Back in April 2016, ** ******* *** *** ** ***** *** at the time, was pressured into signing a 120-month contract for a water filtration system that ** didn’t need. The company convinced him that their water needed treatment, even though Toronto’s tap water is of excellent quality and meets Canadian drinking water standards. Despite ** ****** immediately calling the company to cancel the contract, they refused and only offered a small discount on the monthly payments.
      For nearly 100 months, my parents have been paying for a system they didn’t want or need. To make matters worse, the company has never once serviced or maintained the system. No one has contacted them to check the filtration system’s efficiency, nor have any filters been replaced in all this time.
      When I contacted Simply Group to request the termination of this unfair contract, they denied my request, claiming the contract is still valid. Their only offer was to buy out the remaining term for a substantial amount. Additionally, ** ****** was promised an ****** gift card when the billing switched from ******** to Simply Group, but despite multiple follow-ups, it never arrived.
      This company clearly ***** ********* ** ******* ******* using high-pressure tactics and misleading information to lock them into long-term contracts. * ****** ****** ******* ********** ***** **** ******* ****** ******** ** ***** ***** ******** **** ****** ****** Their practices are *********, and they show no regard for fairness or customer care.

      1 star is being considerate. Receiving ac/furnace services going on for now 10 years from simply green. They sent my paperwork over to ******** Home Comfort. I've already done 10 years and now, while receiving pension as my only income. ******** wants me to pay for another 7 years...7 YEARS!! Are you kidding me? I've already paid over $20K and they want more money from me, through another company (Reliance). Not happening. I've stopped any payments coming out of my account. ***** *** ***** **** * ******

      I leased a heat pump at the door July/2018 but didn't have to pay until Sept\2018 because they installed it in July with inadequate refrigerant; I had to wait an extra month or so before they got that fixed so I could use it.
      It's a small unit - I now want to purchase a new unit locally from a reputable company because I feel this current unit is now close to total failure. By the local company who services my machine, we were offered a new part (very small part, plastic, part of the inside portion of this unit) - that part would have cost me an additional $800-$900. At this time I feel any repairs are not my responsibility. It is extremely difficult to deal with Simply Green - especially since they now work out of Ontario.
      I leased this machine originally, and on installation there was a somewhat threatening conversation regarding what would happen if I tried to take the machine out myself. They (Simply Green) according to the contract, can remove this current unit and leave the gaping hole where the equipment passes from outside to inside. I, on the other hand, have no rights regarding this machine.
      Finance-wise, I have had to pay a 'rental tax' paid monthly in the amount they remove from my account. To date I have paid over $12,000 and I believe I still owe about $10,000 to $12,000.
      Before winter sets in I want to have Simply Green's heat pump removed and replaced with one from the local company. This will involve having it removed, refrigerant removed safely and storing it under my deck pending further instructions from Simply Green, stopping any access to my bank accounts, etc. I should also relate that they provided me with a heat pump with serial numbers scratched off! And if I choose to sell my house and move, I need permission from Simply Green. Right now I just don't know what to do.; But I should point out a brand new unit locally is priced at $7500. Quite a difference.
