    On 10/20/23 I paid $395.50 to ************************* for: 1) 3 mold tests + results, 2) 2-3 hr inspection of property, 3) inspection report detailing causes of mold development.Dispute: ************************* hired under Ottawa Mold and Asbestos inspections (also operating under Ottawa Foundation Repair; Home Insight Inspections) was contracted for services. Mold was IDd by prior tenant, municipal health inspectors, family, landlord, + company hired by landlord; the ******* tribunal asked me for a home inspection report on causal factors. ***** was unwilling to provide only causal factor report although ON mold sampling is invalid in QC but agreed to provide a separate inspection report for tribunal. On 10/20, I spent 10min walking him thru interior/exterior/issues (mold, excess condensation, rot, leaks,etc) While we spoke he left door open which invalidates results. He had me wait outside while he did mold test with door open. After 3min he had 2 indoor samples. 10min per is standard. He set up outdoor sample 8 from the house (should be collected 10 away). He had me pay, promising report/results in 6days. I asked him to inspect home (pointing out attic leak,etc). He said he trusted my word and had enough info. I was perplexed but he had stated his view that there was mold in the walls due to lack of major house repair and lack of ventilation -also flagged by municipal inspectors. He asked for my email to send the results/report. He was onsite 17min. ~10days later he called saying there was no mold (prompting me to investigate sample procedure for mold test). I was skeptical, asked for the report/results. He said I would see it in 1day. 10+ more days, I knew based on researching mold testing that I had been scammed. I posted a negative review.What business offered to resolve: ***** responded with online libel, defamation, threats to help others blackmail me. He hasnt returned $. His actions are not in compliance with professional standards of any licensing body

    This a low life ***** enjoys living for free in ************** property and avoids paying rent pretending she got sick in that rental due to mold which is absolutely false and test results proved her wrong. She lied that I didnt conduct the air sampling wrongful and didnt know what Im doing. 
    she is just filthy and didnt want to clean her place blaming on landlord and me. She wanted me to produce a false report that house had high mold infestation and leaky foundation which not but bunch of baseless lies. 
    I refused to write a false report and she complained to BBB and ****** listing . She sent me bunch of photos showing some condensation on windows and dirt on floor and bathroom walls which had nothing to do with the landlord nor condition of the house. 
    I believe in honesty and I would never produce a fictitious report taking her side. Instead of picking on a fight with me, she should just pay her unpaid rent and stop damaging my name and practice.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1) ************************* claims he stole my money and that is ok because he believes I didnt pay my rent.

    - I did pay my rent in full. ************************* claims I didnt because he wants to use this to justify not providing services that I paid him for.

    - My hiring ************************* and paying for the inspection and report requires that he complete the contract. He was to inspect the home, and provide mold test results and report.  He did not do this.

    - ************************* casts slurs but does not deny that he was hired and paid to provide services that I did not receive. His actions show his desire to con people out of money.

    - ************************* clearly thinks he can treat women like dirt (as evidenced by his inability to write a civil response, read my complaint, or respond to my requests, but also as evidenced by his demanding to know where my husband was when he arrived, and his mocking words about my having a PhD). ********** in ****** cannot discriminate on the basis of gender.
