I towed my car to **** Lincoln Heights in ****** ******* last Wednesday to get looked at for power steering issues. They said they couldnt get it in until the end of December so I told them Id come pick it up. They said it would be waiting in the front parking lot. I went to get it last night and the car was gone. I received no email or call to inform me of where it is or what they did to it. I checked my social media and they had sent me a message on Instagram informing me they are towing it with no prior heads up or information. Not only is Instagram not a proper way to let someone know this information but Its incredibly unprofessional. I do not want to pay for the towing and storage of wherever they sent it and feel it should be on them to pay the cost. They have my phone and email and didnt use either to let me know. ***********************

your vehicle was towed to our location on wednesday november ********************************************************************************* the front of dealership taking up 2 parking spots and left the incorrect key. the tow driver returned the next morning to give us the proper key but did not provide us with any of your contact information. because you had never been to our dealership before we had no way of know who this car belonged to.  the car sat in that same spot for a full week. you called our service department on friday Dec 1 pm and talked to our service advisor ****. in a very brief conversation with **** he told you our service department was booked and it could be weeks before we could look at your vehicle. you clearly told him to leave the key in our showroom for your wife / girlfriend to pick up that friday evening. your wife / girlfriend did come to dealership to pick up that key on december 1 pm, did not leave any contact information and took the key,  and told our sales manager that you would be back within 24 hours to pick up the vehicle, meaning by Dec 2. when we opened on monday Dec 4 and  the car was still left in the same spots, we made every effort to contact you but you had never left any contact information with us. we looked inside the window of your locked vehicle for any contact information, we saw an invoice with your name but no contact information. based on the *** of your car we were able to see that previous service was done at another **** dealership. we called that dealership to get your contact info but they would not release any personal information. based on your name on the receipt we could see, our sales manager sent a probing instragram message dec. 5 . we have a copy of that message. you failed to reply to that message before noon of Dec 6, a full week after you had the vehicle towed to us, so we were left with no choice but to have it towed as an abandoned vehicle. you finally did reply to that instagram message at 8;30pm on december 6, 4 hours after the vehicle was towed.

we would never want to have a car towed, but your lack of communicating your contact information, and your failure to follow up on your commitment to have the vehicle removed by december 2nd left us with no choice.

    the vehicle is your responsibilty.
