  We had a small flood due to a dishwasher leak that damaged our kitchen flooring and basement wall. We had some difficulty connecting with the **** Davis project manager responsible for coordinating our insurance claim; however, our experience with the project team performing the work was EXCELLENT! Our project manager was knowledgeable, competent and made sure the work was being done to our satisfaction. She is a real gem! Our contractor was just as great. He turned up promptly, worked full days -- even staying quite late one night to finish off the work -- and was pleasant and courteous the entire time. Even the moving and clean up crew were impressive! They were extremely careful with a large, very heavy breakfront in our kitchen -- even calling in a more experienced mover to help when the breakfront didn't split into two pieces as expected. These lovely gentlement also left our kitchen and basement immaculate. I will DEFINITELY consider hiring **** Davis for my future construction needs!

  I had unfortunate wind damage from the spring storm in Ottawa early 2023. **** Davis hired local contractors and *************** ******* was hired to fix my eavestroughing and downspouts that were torn from ******* when a large tree lost limbs. *************************** ( the owner) and his crew came and installed new eavestrophing and downspouts and resealed various points on *******. They did an amazing job and were excellent to work with. Very pleasant workers and even tossed the stick for my job. I would hire them again if I had repairs to do. Excellent work ethic.

  Zero stars. I would even give a minus....billed for work they have not done. The proof that the work was not completed remains in my water damaged basement.

  If a negative star review was available Id use it .One star is far to much for this company.We had a septic pipe that leaked sewage in our crawl space under our shop . It was an emergency clean up as the plumbers could not access the area with sewage in it .The first night 3 people came and worked 45 minutes The next day the plumbers came and told us that they cannot work as its not cleaned up .. I agreed with the plumbing company, it wasnt their fault it wasnt cleaned up . But they sent 3 plumbers and I had to pay . The next visit by the **** Davis crew came . I left my cell number asking them to call me if any issues arise as I had the plumbing crew coming in the morning. No cal . I see on my cams they left after 40 minutes. The plumbing crew came in the morning and again the work area wasnt cleaned up . They once again couldnt work .I got another company to come and clean everything as it should been done . The plumbing company came and fixed everything.**** Davis sent me an invoice for $3500 and I didnt pay them as we were still trying to contact ****** their estimator and he never replied. They sent us to collection. We paid Stay away from this scam company.Oh and it wasnt covered by insurance. It crippled our business The plumbing company were good . We paid a lot for 3 plumbers coming and notable to work because of **** Davis *** Like I said if a negative star review was available Id give them that .They should be ashamed of themselves

  Terrible customer experience In September contaminated water flooded our basement. Our insurance company assigned **** Davis to clean, assess damage, and estimate repair cost.From our experience our advice is to be wary dealing with **** Davis. Avoid them if you can. If you must deal with them, check everything for errors and omissions. If they ask for money make sure it is really owing to them. Remove fragile items; we found they will not accept responsibility for damage. And expect that their progress will be very slow; in our case our basement is still unusable after 5 months.**** Daviss initial response was quick. Disaster cleanup crew was pleasant and did a good job cleaning, and removing damaged basement floor, subfloor and contaminated drywall. But after initial cleanup progress stopped.They said assessing repair effort and estimating cost would take 1-2 weeks. 2 months later an incomplete estimate was finally submitted. Flooring omitted. After many requests, they sent a separate flooring estimate and an email that insurance had approved estimates. They also demanded payment, to them, of the deductible. Wrong. Our adjuster had not received or approved the estimates. And said deductible was not payable to **** Davis.If possible, remove fragile items. We found **** Davis will not accept responsibility for damage. They must have dropped our washing machine and broke the circuit board from the machine casing. We sent photos of the internal damage and requested compensation towards purchase of a new machine but they refused to accept responsibility, instead contending that vibration caused the damage: impossible since the machine was in good working order before they moved it. Advice: avoid **** Davis if you have a choice. Instead choose a company with a record for customer satisfaction. If you have no choice, then be careful how you deal with them. check for errors, protect fragile items, and expect that progress will be painfully slow.
