  *** did an fantastic job renovating our basement. **** worked with us to come up with a design within our budget, and the price was competitive with out quotes we received. ******* was terrific to work with in our materials selections. Our project manager, *****, provided excellent communication throughout the project and resolved issues quickly and to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the final product and impressed with the professionalism of OGC. We recommend their services!

  We worked with OGC for an extensive home renovation.
  Recently, we ran into an electrical issue long after the work had been completed, and well outside of the warranty period. To our surprise and deep appreciation, ***** went out of his way to arrange for someone to come by and fix the issue within the same day — under 24 hours. That kind of responsiveness and care is rare.
  This experience truly speaks volumes about the kind of people the staff at OGC are. They go above and beyond, not just for current clients, but even for those whose projects have long since wrapped up.
  We’re incredibly grateful to ***** and the entire team for their consistent thoughtfulness and support. If you're considering a home renovation, know that you’ll be in great hands with OGC.

  I have been dealing with them for 3 years now, job not completed, poor quality work. Interaction with them has been awful..
  i had my bathroom renovated , upon demolition the water wasn’t capped properly that lead to flooding of the house, main floor, garage ..
  proceeded to start the reno , and the floor was 4 inches to high , but they continued, bathroom was demolished again and restarted, to the ceiling not being reinforced, to tiles detaching from the wall , mirrors to high , light to high as it was measured to the first construction. Cabinet and sink were wrong .. plumbing replace 3 times , mirrors broken .. the list goes on and on.. jewelry stolen ..
  Having meeting after meeting and some things resolved but not replaced .. but job is incomplete, they owe me compensation that they offered me .. they keep telling me I will receive … never happens for the floors , the stress of it .. etc..
  already had cabinets replaced as they were falling apart ..
  its has been my worst experience ever .
  Keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but they promised a answer by the end of day .. 3-4 weeks later Im reaching out .. tomorrow no answer or more excuses..
  my entire house has been affected ..
  the work incomplete, poorly done ..
  i want my compensation.. floors redone, etc ..
  100% would never recommend this company..
  from the sales to the work to the owners ..

  We hired Ottawa General Contractors for the rebuild of our home, and we couldnt be happier with the results. From the initial consultation with ****, through construction with **** and finances with ******** - the team was professional, communicative, and attentive to every detail. They ensured we understood the process the entire way through and any decisions or changes were communicated clearly. The craftsmanship is top notch everything looks and functions beautifully- the attention to detail is outstanding. What really impressed us was how responsive and solution oriented they were. Any small issues that came up were handled quickly and with the most care. This team is hard to beat, they make you feel like family! Thank you to all of your wonderful trades who worked long hours and got the job done! We absolutely recommend Ottawa General Contractors to anyone considering a new home build. Wed hire them again in a heartbeat.

  *** has done an excellent job of renovations in my house. We had major renovations done in the basement and the main floor (including kitchen). The project was very well planned and executed. The trades exhibited professionalism and were very accommodating and polite. The quality of materials used was great. Overall, the whole project was implemented in an excellent manner and completed on schedule.Highly recommend ***.

  We recently completed a large 6 months renovation on our home with the help of OGC. The renovation included the whole main floor and basement, and we are very pleased with the results!From the design to the purchasing to the construction... *** provided an exceptional customer experience.I terms of the scope of the project, our home is a 1990s bungalow and we wanted to open it up, renovate the kitchen, all bathrooms, bring the laundry upstairs to a newly created mudroom and update the flooring, ceilings, and lighting throughout. We had a couple of surprises along the way when the walls were opened up, but our project manager ****, kept us updated and informed. Communication was top notch! **** posted daily updates and pictures on the *** portal of the progress being made so we were never left wondering what had happened that day. This was very important to us as we were not living in the house and not in a position to frequently stop by.The quality of work is excellent, and the whole team remained professional at all times. Along with ****, I also worked very closely with ******* who helped me choose the fixtures and source the materials needed. She is SO organized, I just loved that! She was a huge help, narrowing down our choices, providing different options for different price points and then letting us make the final selections. She listened to our wants and needs and understood what we were trying to achieve.OGC's process really worked, you know exactly what you are paying for with each change order, there wasn't a feeling that we were just writing one big blank cheque... everything was accounted for and there were no surprises. The invoices were very clear.Bottom line, I would recommend *** without reservation and we would hire them all over again. We are very excited to enjoy our new home just in time for the summer! A very big "Thank you" to the whole team!

  The renovation was very well done. There were some issues along the way, but their commitment to quality and to customer service meant that these issues were dealt with and other incentives were provided. The design and sourcing of materials were very well done!

  Thank you *** for the job well done. My husband and I are very happy and enjoying our new renovated Kitchen and Bath. Since the project started until it was done we didn't have any stress with how ***** managed. He is a down to earth guy and did a great job. We are so happy and proud of him. I say OGC is lucky to have him he knows what he is doing, pointed things to perfection that's why we didn't have stress til project is done and we are happy. It must be nice for the workers if they see their names here that we are proud of them too on how they did their job well but since i didn't memorize all their names it will be unfair to those few i have their names and put in here. OGC, with all these great workers you have pls don't let go any of them??. I knew they are under contractors but i witnessed how they did their job i say they are great workers to keep. I also say from demolition, framing, drywall, putting up between 600-800+lbs beam for ceiling support, tiling, electrical, plumbing, painting and final cleaning crew they were all professionals. I can't believe how the two guys took the beam from the lawn and put it in the ceiling with no ding or damage to the wall or floor bec of the weight, very professional! Nobody repeated a job, they made sure that they did their job right the 1st time. Nice to hear from a worker saying they go home with a good sleep bec they were honest and confident of the work they did. They also tidied up and cleaned their mess before leaving the work area, they were respectful and great workers.We are not good in the selection of items we want but with the help of ******* in the office and also ****** at **************** we were able to picked what we like and we are happy how all turned out. We are confident that the project was done all to code because inspections were done before doing the next step. If we have another house to fix surely we use OGC again bec of this great experienced. Again Thanks ***. Overall we are happy!

  I recently completed a major renovation with Ottawa General Contractors (OGC), and I couldn't be happier with the results. The project lasted over six months and involved significant structural changes, including removing a load-bearing wall and installing a beam to create a more open layout in the kitchen-living-dining area. They also reconfigured my upstairs floor plan to give me a beautiful master bedroom with an ensuite and a walk-in closet—exactly what I had envisioned.
  Throughout the process, my Project Manager ***** demonstrated exceptional project management skills. He coordinated and sourced highly skilled tradespeople, ensuring every phase of the renovation was completed to a high standard. Communication was clear, and he did a great job resolving unexpected issues that arose.
  I especially appreciated the flexibility OGC allowed me with scope. They were more than willing to accommodate my change requests and were willing to leave a few areas unfinished so that I could complete them myself—I love having a project around the house! That level of understanding and adaptability really set them apart.
  If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional general contractor, I highly recommend the team at OGC.
