  After serious consideration, I give *** a 10/10 rating. Not because all was perfect without effort, that would be a 9 out of 10, but because OGC and I worked towards results I did not even imagine. Yes, the experience and end product went far beyond my expectations from the planning to the lived in look and feel. My house increased value beyond the investment, with a unique modern look thanks to the architect, designers and everyone on the *** team. Phase 1 of my reno, an entrance addition was completed last summer. The amazing results made me ask *** to pursue with Phase 2 this summer, an open concept kitchen. I continued with *** because if something is not right, the Project Manager ensures it is fixed to the customers satisfaction. I highly recommend *** for their patience with my questions and changes, their explanation of options, recommendations, expertise, workmanship and attention to detail. All that deserves a 10.*******

  They designed a bathroom to fit into the closet and hallway space between the two bedrooms on the 2nd floor. They framed in this space and installed a pocket door that matched exiting bedroom doors.They were able to route the plumbing from the to the basement without noticeable effects on the ground floor. HVAC was also installed in a way not noticeable.The quality of the workmanship was excellent and tradespersons were efficient, courteous and respectful. The contractor kept us informed of scheduling of trades and all issues that we needed to resolve.We are very happy with the resulting bathroom! I would recommend them as a skilled and reliable renovation contractor.

  We hired Ottawa General Contractors to do a complete remodel of our main floor. They took out all the walls inside to create an open concept. We are very pleased with the work they did and the end results. They listened to what we wanted and then delivered it. Our project manager kept everything moving on schedule and made sure the different trades people were here when they needed to be. All the trades people who were in the house were respectful, helpful and very knowledgeable. Any hiccups that arose were handled quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend *** to anyone looking to do a renovation.

  I recently had my basement renovation done by The Ottawa General Contractors; and I am very satisfied with the outcome of the project. My appreciation goes to all the teams that are involved in this project for their immensely contributions to the completion and the success of the project. My special thanks goes to the Project Manager, **** who excellently managed all the challenges that arose during the construction process. *** also provided a more convenient all-in-one-services in getting some repair works done in the main house during the period; instead of having me going the hassles of hiring different handymen for the repair jobs. I really had a great experience with *** and would definitely recommend this company.

  We engaged with OGC for our basement renovation in 2024. The process was smooth from beginning to end. We were very happy with the end results, and the high quality finish. Our project and construction manager (*** and ******) were excellent. Very professional, kept us on schedule and on budget, and provided timely updates. As with many construction projects, there were a few small hiccups, but these were dealt with immediately by the team at OGC. Overall we were very happy with the project.

  Attention to details, quality of work and products, workers listen to what I wanted and were able to advise me to find the best solutions. Good taste in matching closets, floor, lighting. On time, organized and able to communicate to explain what will be done and why.The kitchen is now full of light and beautiful.

  We had the pleasure of having *** complete a kitchen renovation for us this year. The *** design team managed to capture our ideas in their design drawings and ****, the Project Manager, made it happen. *******, the Material Selections coordinator, carefully listened, understood our style, and managed to help us stay within our budget when ordering all necessary materials for the project. She was flexible and did all the necessary research to help us make our concepts a reality. **** was instrumental in ensuring the project moved along in the time frame that was scheduled. He also provided us with skilled trades that did excellent work to create a wonderful kitchen. The careful installation of our stained glass within the transom frame was completed flawlessly by **** and ******. We want to thank ***** and **** for the skilled carpentry in building the arch doorway, transom framework, and walk in pantry. These features truly make the kitchen area unique. ****** did a superb job with the drywalling, mudding, and sanding. He is talented and takes pride in his work; the results are evident. **** was wonderful in putting up our doors and helping **** with the tricky installation of the hood vent cover. **** the plumber provided excellent plumbing finishes and Precise electrical were quick and efficient in getting all electrical completed. ****** skills in laying ceramics was evident in the final results. ***** attention to detail and open communication were truly appreciated. It was evident that there was mutual respect between him and the trades who were working with him on this project. The teamwork was truly evident. He was always attentive to our needs and responded quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend *** for any renovation projects and we would not hesitate to use them again.

  OGC took care of my project to build an addition and remodel the kitchen from inception to finish and were extremely responsive from the start to the very end. During the design phase, I only had vague ideas of what I wanted. Through back and forth they went through multiple iterations with 3d renderings, each one with a very quick turnaround, until we settled on something I absolutely LOVED. Once the project got started, ****, my project manager, coordinated material deliveries and different trades like a rockstar. His response time to my texts and emails were usually in the minutes. He was present almost every day to ensure things were moving well and address details before I could flag them. The trades themselves did really quality work, always kept the site clean and were always respectful. In the end, the trust we built gave me the confidence to almost double the scope of work as the project progressed. All changes were made via clearly defined change orders BEFORE any of the work was done. There were never any surprise costs after the fact, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.I am absolutely thrilled with the end result and will be using them again in the future to close out my carport into a garage.
