    I am a hairstylist and I purchased the Gama Iq blow dryer to use for my business on 12/26/23 for $347.90

    The dryer was used from January-March September-Current (approx. 6-7 months total) and my dryer shuts off during every single blow out I do. It has been doing this since September. I reached out to the manufacturer, however they told me they can’t help because I purchased through a distributor (at the time I purchased, ****** ***** was the only distributor in the US selling this blow dryer)

    After reading reviews recently on this dryer, I’m noting several people stating they are having the same issue.

    I properly clean the filter, and run the self cleaning function after every service. My ***** lasted 3 years! As a professional who spends a lot of money on reliable tools, I feel like was duped.

    Was just informed by the repair facility that I had originally received a blow dryer that does not belong in the ** its only for distribution in ******. When I received the information I contacted the establishment that it was purchased from and they tried to say I was no where in the system, and they sent me to the head of customer service and the gentleman for one didnt even know his own name he studdered and stammered when it came to finally stating a name and then when I asked for his name again he refused .. at this point I had requested multiple types of information as well as his supervisor he refused all information and had hung up on me and when I called back he said dont call again they will press charges for harassment, I definitely dont understand how it goes from they cant find my order or information, giving me a hard time to speaking with the supposed supervisor to be talked to in the manner I was, was awful and I dont appreciate being a 30+yrs professional in the hair industry. Coming from a family who is in the industry, I know there are different plugs how was I to know until I was informed by ************************ that it was incorrect how was I to know.

    Our costumer service has received 1 call from ********************************** on Monday August 24th at 1:33pm EST. She inquired about a unit she received as a gift which was purchased from us on Feb 2021, more than 2 years ago. Unfortunately she was not able to provide a proof of purchase, and we were not able to retrieve details of her purchase from our records. At this juncture we explained to her that we can not confirm she has purchased the unit from us, by non the less how may we help you. She mentioned her unit was sent out for service, and she gained new information from the vendor servicing the unit that the power cord was not made for the USA market. With her new found conviction she requested how this occurred, and although we were not able to confirm her purchase she persisted with her questions. 

    At this time, roughly 32minutes into the call, the customer service manager was asked to take over the call. Upon introduction, ********************************** continued her persistence, and requesting an apology. Our manager, again repeated that we can not confirm she made a purchase from our company. In addition, to avoid any doubt we informed her that any units our company supplies our clients are designed for use in *** and which meet all compliance with electronic certification by Intertek cETLus. 

    Throughout the entire exchange ********************************** was very condescending and insulting our costumer service team. She made various threats that if she didn't get an apology she would start a smear campaign. In attempt to end the call, our manager asked if there was anything we can do to help her, and she insisted to speak to the owner of the company, and that she must go up the corporate chain to speak to the highest level of authority. Now, more than 76mins into the call, we respectively declined her request, and announced that we can not continue the call, and closed the ticket by saying goodbye. 

    ********************************** then called back immediately, and started to shout to speak to the president of our company, and made various threats. It was at this time that we asked her to please reconsider her approach, we wish to help her, but it has been over 2 years since her purchase, and that we could not confirm she purchase from us without any proof of purchase. ********************************** continued to shout and make threats, and she left us no choice to announce that of she continues her behavior that we will consider this to be herrassment. Again, announced that we can not continue the call, and closed the ticket by saying goodbye.

    I was concerned  with the statements that the company had sent in in regards to my complaint I would like to include the proofs of the things I can prove that he was not stating  the truth. 

     

    I am simply asking for the company to do the right thing and they have found me in the computer the individual I had spoken with just made things worse with the way he would state I could email them, but refused giving me an email address to provide anything. 

     

    I am sending the proofs of call log to show my calls to the company and how long the calls were to show I don't know of one 76 minute call, and the invoice that I used the numbers off of before to replace the back filter on the unit I am referring to in this complaint.
